Date unknownAfter a search with dramatic experiences, we came into contact with brokers and were introduced to Tom, who is rightfully driven, involved and reliable. Almost hit the mark with the first house, but for the second, Tom had it arranged on the day of the viewing and also quite a bit below the asking price!! That's something we didn't expect in this market. Can’t do anything other than recommend him as a (purchase) broker. Thanks again, Tom, Silvain & Linda 👍👍 PS Think twice if you are referred to Andre Feijs for finances. Only had misery and problems here that I did not resolve thanks to them. Nice story but total amateurs.

26 Jun 2025We had asked Tom for an appraisal of our home. Tom gives open and honest advice with a personal approach. He has a good understanding of things and knows how to assess the property's value correctly. Tom comes across as enthusiastic and communicates pleasantly. A breath of fresh air compared to real estate agents from other (large) agencies we had. There you are customer number . They deliver no more than assembly line work with a universal view. They release a formula without looking at the surroundings, location, etc. Everything is focused on selling as quickly as possible and moving on to the next client. That is different with Tom. He takes all the time for his clients and does that extra bit that others leave behind. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Tom!!

Once my keys broke (yes, I have that kind of luck), and without hesitation Said took on the responsibility to personally resolve the issue, which saved me a lot of stress. No hassle, no eye-rolling – just pure landlord magic. There were also moments when he offered a helping hand when it wasn't necessary, which only proves that he is one of those rare finds in the rental world. And they also have that incredible ability to respect your privacy and at the same time be approachable. It’s as if they have an invisible tenant radar – always around when you need them, but never around. The property was always in good condition, communication flowed effortlessly, and the whole experience made renting a breeze. If I weren't moving, I would still happily stay there. Five stars aren't enough – can we give out landlord trophies?

Date unknownErik Bessems does not measure the areas of the Sonnevijver houses and gardens. Subsequently, he covers himself with the official sales deed. Once you have signed, you can no longer hold Bessems or the notary liable. A tip for prospective buyers: measure the house and garden yourself before proceeding to the final purchase. Bessems is paid handsomely to sell the house but compulsory measurements as a real estate agent, he has no desire for that. Sad but true.

28 Nov 2022I still feel guilty about nominating this Bessems realtor regarding the sale of my mother's house in Kanne. Will de Jonge was enormously enthusiastic and really wanted to take charge of this sale. This turned out differently because Will de Jonge suddenly no longer worked for Bessems Realty the week after our commitment. What I find utterly scandalous is that we were never informed about this. Will was our point of contact, would represent us in the sale of my mother's house. Forgotten perhaps? We are not talking about a bag of candy but about a house. A bad start. After this, the entire sale unfolded into one big drama, a chain reaction of very poor communication and many mistakes, too many to mention. All in all, a very stressful experience for everyone, but especially for my 85-year-old mother. I would therefore certainly not recommend this realtor.

28 Nov 2022Would I recommend this broker? No definitely not! I would even strongly advise against this office to anyone who asks for my opinion. This agency was allowed to sell my mother's house in Belgium. Initially, we dealt with broker Wil de Jonge from Bessems agency who really wanted to sell the house for us. Due to his enthusiasm for the assignment, my mother chose Bessems. However, when I went to hand over the keys at the office for the first viewing, I was told that Mr. de Jonge no longer worked for Bessems agency. The agency did not inform us about this and they could not tell me which broker would take over Mr. de Jonge's duties. After some insistence on my part, I received an email address where I could go with my questions. I emailed and am still waiting for a response to this day..... On the day of the viewing, I myself went to wait in the building to see which broker would take on our assignment. From that moment on, Mr. Kornips was our broker but we missed the involvement, advice and expertise you would expect from a broker. And even at the time of transfer with the notary, our broker remained deficient....the energy label had not been forwarded and there was a file missing which we were unaware existed. We had requested prior to the transfer for completeness assessment of the file but also there the broker did not respond. The buyer's notary withheld 5000 euros from the purchase price until we could provide the file. A lot of stress for us and our 85-year-old mother, therefore. And from the broker no recognition for their mistakes, no empathy but a well-deserved generous commission. Even our ability to rate on funda has been blocked by Bessems which makes me wonder how much those laudatory reviews actually mean if you block negative feedback. I say in any case 'brokerage firm Erik Bessems?!' NEVER AGAIN!

Initially, there was some noise on the line regarding communication and coordination during the sales process. Erik was very receptive to feedback and took action accordingly. This resulted in a smooth subsequent procedure. Very nice to experience! The sales file looked top notch. The sale was also completed positively. Financial advice was also obtained from financial advisor Ronald Kusters (of Erik Bessems Makelaardij). Excellent help from Ronald with expert advice, pleasant explanation, good coordination and perfect follow-up of made appointments. Top! I would definitely recommend this brokerage firm!

From the very first contact we had with the real estate agent, we didn't feel like just a number, and we found that really pleasant. The real estate agent made enough time for us, answered our questions, and provided a lot of information about the property. After the viewing, we also received plenty of space to ask questions. It didn't feel at all businesslike or formal, but truly very human. Until the key transfer, we had regular contact. That took away some of the tension occasionally. Again, we felt understood here. 24 Feb 2025This broker engaged for the sale of our property. We invited and spoke with several parties. Ultimately chose Timmermans real estate and our broker was Marvin. We are very satisfied with his service. We like open and transparent and he fully embodies that. He kept his appointments and his invoice was also top-notch. Other brokers ask much more and seem to deliver less than Timmermans Vastgoed. Definitely recommended! The only downside was that he couldn't come by the same day for an appointment but only the next day. Greetings, Family Jaspers

He was enthusiastic, honest, gave good tips & sold our house as if it were his own. Everything happens only with good consultation and actions are initiated only after agreement. Transparent in both positive and any potentially negative outcomes, and thinks along with solutions and/or other options. Despite Marvin having a good sense of humor and being up for a joke, he remains professional. He knows what he's talking about.

From the moment of our first phone call, I found him very involved, honest and transparent as an agent; my partner later felt just as enthusiastic about him as I did. We have spoken to many agents recently in our search for a home but Marvin Timmermans quickly distinguished himself. A nice man who is not a 'billable hour' person; during the viewing, he guided us well and even thought along with us and gave tips on how we could best renovate the house. He has a lot of knowledge of the area and also recommended a good restaurant nearby. Both my partner and I were impressed by Marvin’s approach during the two viewings we had of the property.
