18 Jun 2025Contact was excellent. The brokerage is enormously high, but that is mainly due to the connection with Roompot Real estate. It is not true that Roompot does not allow other real estate agents, creating a monopoly position and they - in addition to the local agent - also ask for equally high brokerage fees. We approached several other agents beforehand, but they said they were not cooperating with Roompot. This lies more with Roompot than with our agent.

18 Apr 2025We, as a young couple, went looking for a nice spot. We knew through our advisor what was possible. The chosen property fell within our budget. Nevertheless, the real estate agent claimed that we couldn't afford it. At least, those were their words. Very disrespectful. Luckily, the house was what we were looking for (with the defects later) because you don't come here for information, service, or professionalism. Our designated real estate agent was practically never present at appointments and unreachable by phone. It was then a colleague or substitute to whom we couldn't ask anything. It seems like just anyone can become a real estate agent. The 'Fair Bidding' process is also just a matter of giving the child a name. We had an agreement, yet they preferred to sell the house to someone else. All's well that ends well for us. But we will never choose Versluijs again and we advise everyone against it.

29 Aug 2024I had made a request for a viewing of a penthouse (with recreational use) in Cadzand with Jan de Dobbelaere. We agreed there and Jan showed me around (with few words/explanations). Also viewed the associated wellness area and asked about the procedure/use of the wellness (exclusive or shared use, sharing with the chalet park next door? etc.). This was not entirely clear how that is arranged.(?) I left with a number of questions which I subsequently drafted and sent by email to the real estate agent. Questions about the rental agreement of the landlord and previous rental income from the apartments. Since you are obliged to rent out the plot, these are legitimate questions that are important for further consideration. After all, Jan could not answer these questions on the spot. Logical; However, after waiting more than a week, we still had heard nothing or received an email. Subsequently, we decided not to proceed and look elsewhere for a holiday home. We also shared this by email, but received no response here either. A pity, and particularly disappointing, because we were enthusiastic about the property. As far as I am concerned, a missed opportunity.

15 Aug 2025It would be great to only be able to rate the accommodation, since I only had contact with the local agent for two seconds, so I can't say much about them. The accommodation is intended for four people. We were there as a couple. I realize that the houses (garden houses) are all a bit older, but they are modernly equipped. However, they should regularly replace the sleeping facilities and mattresses, not just because they are worn out. For me, the environment was the only relaxing factor, but unfortunately not the sleep quality. I would not rent or recommend this accommodation again.

Date unknownBeautiful accommodations in top locations for a fair price - exceptions confirm the rule... once the leather sofa was completely worn out, but otherwise the accommodations were always well-equipped and well-maintained. Good website, user-friendly for booking requests. Confirmation directly during office hours. Smooth, friendly handling on site. Communication also runs smoothly in German. You will receive a care package with a dishcloth, scrubbing brush, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, matches and a roll of toilet paper. Good service. It is a bit annoying that linen packages (towels, bed linen) must be booked separately for a fee and are not included in the rental price, let alone that the beds are made up with them. We also had towels once that were completely worn out and partly stained, while they clearly appeared freshly washed. So we had to return them and exchange them or reluctantly accept the rather hefty price. Neither is great. Overall, however, we have been very satisfied regular customers for years. Cadzand-Bad is our second home and we have been coming there since our childhood at least once a year. Furthermore, we miss something. ...and our children feel the same way now. Goodbye!

A disturbing example of how people react when you have to disappoint them. When renting, we have so many candidates that you also have to disappoint many. We experienced this viewing as very positive and nominated you, along with several other candidates, to the landlord. It hurts us a lot how much of this kind of reaction (and this harsh, poorly substantiated comment in particular) we receive when we have to disappoint candidate tenants. It's a shame that such an intense accusation is made without even making one phone call asking why the landlord chose another party.

16 Aug 2024My friend and I decided to move in together and sell our own homes so that we could make a fresh start. After asking around, the name MyHouse came up several times. I made an appointment for an appraisal. I had a good feeling about the contact with Carolien. She seemed engaged and interested. Ultimately, I entrusted the sale of my house to MyHouse, and my friend did the same. The contract was signed and from that moment on, everything went steeply downhill. Carolien completely disappeared from view and almost all contact was through an intern. What a drama... I had listed everything neatly regarding renovations carried out; you would think this would be passed on internally. It wasn't. You have to check everything three times. When my friend’s house went online, they were asked what the agreed price was… uhm, shouldn’t Carolien know that? No...Carolien was sick and couldn’t be disturbed... Also with him, not everything was displayed correctly. So we had to chase after that again. They once forgot to pass on a viewing, which can happen of course. Or I was told that I hadn't confirmed an appointment, which is patently untrue. But you don’t get apologies here. Well, Tamara called once to apologize on behalf of MyHouse stating that this wasn't their usual way of working... Nothing changed afterwards. Certain times were not possible for me. You would think that would be noted somewhere… every time I had to explain why, how and when... After each viewing, I was briefly called to say how it went and ended with: 'you’ll hear from us'. Uhm...that turned out to be an empty promise, because apparently there is no follow-up and if there is, it's not communicated at all. When you then call, one sister says one thing and the other so. If your real estate agent tells you after someone has come to look for the second time that that person will make a final decision in the following week, I think you can assume that this will be followed up as well. Nothing could be further from the truth... You almost have to beg to get any information at all. It's like flogging a dead horse. The notice board had been blown away by the wind... I had to beg for over a month to get a new sign. A month! Eventually, I got a new sign that was attached to my own tree stakes in a terribly unprofessional way. Here’s your sign! My neighbors asked me apologetically if I had made it myself. There is no genuine interest, mostly nonchalance and disinterest. There is no communication and no follow-up. You have to chase everything yourself and hope you hear something. A beautiful luxury packaging without content. My friend only had one viewing in the more than four months that his house was for sale. When we asked them if we could do anything ourselves (new photos, ...), they replied that they would discuss this at the meeting. You can guess it: 'you’ll hear from us'. They never answered us. So exit MyHouse then. The new real estate agent gave us more tips and advice in half an hour than in the excruciating how-many-months we had to endure with MyHouse. Clear and direct communication and no beautiful hollow words coated in syrup, but action and tips that we could get started with. MyHouse really does NOTHING. They don’t take care of you, they don't think along with you, and you get the feeling that you are asking them for the impossible. The absolute minimum is sufficient for them. They excel at amateurism and nonchalance. They simply couldn’t care less. You don’t expect apologies or genuine interest from them. We are dumbfounded and especially annoyed by the fact that they rake in a considerable sum at the end of the journey and have had to do very little for it. You can sell it just as well yourself... Unfortunately, we are not the only ones with such experiences. We hear more and more complaints, both from sellers/landlords and potential buyers/tenants.

16 Aug 2024Poor real estate agency regarding rentals. Trying to make an appointment for a viewing of a property. Had to provide all my details and then heard nothing more. A few weeks later, requested a viewing for another property. Asked if I wanted to submit my details again. Received no response whatsoever to the reply that I had already submitted them. If this is how they do business ..... You'd better be your own realtor. Today, after posting a review, received a phone call from Myhouse within 10 minutes. Suddenly, after all those weeks, a viewing would now be possible ....... No thank you. Too unreliable.

Contact is extremely difficult, an appointment wasn't cancelled, after calling 5 times I still couldn't get through on a Friday afternoon! I am glad the property has new tenants but myself (the client who pays the bill) was not aware when the deal was actually finalized and I was already working with another party. I really wondered for which party they were working!

Selling your childhood home is an emotional process and as a real estate agent they understood this. Nothing was too much trouble and they always kept their appointments nicely. An extra viewing or some more questions about the house, it was all no problem and it was arranged for you.
