But I think this really needs to be addressed within the company. I hope the way of communication also receives attention, in addition to the focus on sales and correct prices.

20 Jun 2025For several weeks now, we have been requesting a viewing regarding a property being offered by De Groot real estate agency. Our contact details have been provided multiple times. To date, no response has been received to this request. In my opinion, it is also not pleasant for the selling private individual if you miss out on a potential candidate. Concluding, not the service you would expect from a realtor.

We would like to explain this, as the described situation does not entirely match reality. Your initial request via Funda was received by us. You were subsequently contacted by telephone, but we did not receive an answer. Subsequently, contact was made directly with you by email. We did not receive a response from your side to either the missed phone call or our email. More than a month later, we received another request from you. During this second contact moment, one of our back-office employees spoke to you on the phone. It was explained that the property in question had already been withdrawn from sale. Shortly thereafter, you were called again by the real estate agent himself and the situation was personally explained. We always strive for correct and timely communication with all interested parties. In this case, we have acted to the best of our ability within the possibilities at that time. And I can’t shake the impression that he suffers from subjectivity. 'It's not just about money, but about feeling,' according to his website. It doesn't state though that it can also be a terrible feeling. Be warned!

30 May 2025Annet was appointed as a purchasing agent. She investigated all possible aspects within the property with the aim of stripping it bare and lowering the price. Fine if that is the goal. However, Annet forgot some degree of professionalism in communication. Also, she became too absorbed in her own view of the property and forgot the goal of the buying party. The selling party was additionally put under considerable pressure to respond to a proposal by 17:00 hours on the same working day. Ultimately, the goal is not to have one's own vision and exert pressure, but to reach a good and appropriate deal regarding buyer and seller. Annet may be unable to adequately pursue this as a purchasing agent. Concluding, not recommended

In my opinion, after acquiring the assignment, little attention is paid to selling the property; think of creating a new video blog or bringing the property back into focus. Additionally, there are specific issues related to withdrawing from assignments, whereupon withdrawal leads to higher fees than agreed upon, making it very easy for oneself to enrich at the expense of withdrawing assignments. In short, in my opinion, many big promises but unfortunately little action due to taking on too much at once. The expansion to Middelburg has also failed. My advice is to remain small-scale where the customer is central.

The invoice concerns only the direct costs incurred, as previously agreed upon. A cancellation always means a loss for us, not a profit model. The office in Middelburg is completely separate from the offices in Zeeland-Flanders, which makes your comment about this incorrect. We have tried to reach you multiple times to discuss this in person. Instead, you immediately threatened with a negative review if we would not lower the invoice. Unfortunately, this makes your evaluation less credible.

Date unknownI was interested in a rental property and for that, I provided my entire baptismal certificate to this real estate agent. They even had the audacity to ask me how much I spent on energy costs and weekly groceries! Nothing done for me, mistakes were made, and ultimately they stopped responding. The property remained listed on Funda for months. Luckily, the owner entrusted the property to another real estate agent and I was able to rent the property, which means a great deal to me for various reasons, within a week, even at a lower rental price! Reham has served their purpose and apparently did not serve the owner of the property either, as they switched to another real estate agent. UPDATE: The real estate agent in question contacted me by phone and clarified things. They also apologized for what went wrong. I appreciate that. My position regarding the treatment I received remains unchanged unfortunately. Hopefully, someone has learned something from this.

Despite 'all understanding' and the 'thanks for engaging in conversation', and the promise 'to contact me as soon as possible', no contact was made. In contrast to my experience with Reham, I did keep an eye on my phone, even for missed calls. Apparently, it was a false promise that Reham made. Below is my review from 6 months ago: It would be good if they responded to their emails and kept me, as the landlord, informed about the status of an advertisement which I expected to be published. A month ago, photos were taken in my apartment, but (as it was told) these were not sufficiently publishable. My current tenant had apparently not prepared it well enough. But I heard nothing from Reham about this, and even after emailing several times, I received no response. I also called the landline number a few times (the only number I could find on the Reham website). Response: I haven't seen any missed calls, I've been busy, you only (!) emailed twice, it is your right to disagree with this, (what a condescending put-down) and I don’t want to discuss it further. What a terrible story. Instead of thinking along and informing me, someone makes me wait for a month until I had to contact another department again, to then have to hear such a story. Due to this negligence, I lost rental income. What super bad service!

16 Nov 2025I called this office more than 10 days ago to ask for contact. It was promised that someone would call back, but I never heard anything. My colleague also tried to call, but got no response either. It is particularly unfortunate that a real estate office wanting to sell properties is barely reachable. The lady at the reception was furthermore not helpful and seemed not to know how to deal with customers. Instead of listening, she tried to turn the situation around, which only made the conversation more frustrating. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against doing business with this office. You are better off selling your property yourself – the chance that you get results faster seems greater to me. The score of 3.5 stars actually says enough: apparently I am not the only one with this experience.

The sales package was complete with a financial advisor from 'huiskamer hypotheken' who is also definitely recommended and a photographer, for the sales photos. A downside was that some photos were somewhat overexposed and did not match reality. But otherwise very satisfied…

The more abandoned we felt by our broker MyHouse, the more (professional) support we were able to experience from Natasja of real estate agency Moovs, whom we wholeheartedly recommend.

Date unknownWow, it's really special how this real estate agency handled things. A house is for sale for a month, then an open day. We were incredibly enthusiastic, we wouldn’t hide that either but couldn’t make it on that day. Appointment set for 4 days later. No problem. We were happy and wanted to bid high if the house was what we expected. Asking price €299k. We had plenty of room. They are not beginners. Then suddenly we see an email pop up saying the house is sold subject to conditions. Story finish..ten einde, just done. But excuse me? We were still going to view it. We didn't even get a personal appointment cancellation. These aren’t classy things. Huh… we were seriously surprised. Firstly because it wasn’t handled kosher. But secondly, honestly? These people could have gotten so much more money out of their little house. Lol.. Dumb, dumb, dumb.. This realtor is not trustworthy. Very strange turn of events. Pretending like their nose was bleeding, that it's a normal course of business, and now they’re shielding with, yes the resident wanted this. Well if that resident had known there was still 1 new very enthusiastic buyer coming to view who wouldn’t blink at a bid. Ai.... Yuck! That’s not how you do business. We’ll find our new little house anyway, it'll be fine. But this firm… so not classy. ÷ Read response, I can go back and respond on many points. Beautiful story you make of it. Things didn’t go kosher. Sellers are delighted they sold and don’t know any better, are happy with what they got out of it. We were supposedly part of Saturday's group. Had a personal conversation about it over the phone. We were still going to join in at the last minute. Let’s say the sellers missed out on thousands of euros. I’ll leave it at that. My fingers are itching. It will become a tit-for-tat game. I’m going to end up shortchanged anyway. I wish you a nice day.

We understand that it must be frustrating to hear that a property had already been sold subject to contract before you could have a viewing, especially in a market that is currently tight. We take that feeling of disappointment very seriously. Regarding the sales procedure, we want to emphasize that we ensured everyone was given a fair chance. The property was for sale for over 5 weeks, we work 7 days a week until late at night, the property participated in an open house and the bid log was available online for everyone to make an offer. This made it possible for the sellers to reach an agreement for your viewing. Our client is extremely happy with the sale. You will soon be able to see this reflected in their review. We informed you that the scheduled viewing could no longer take place, and that if the sale did not go through we would inform you directly, as we have done with other interested parties. Although we communicated this via email, I understand that a personal phone call might have been preferable. This may have alleviated some of the disappointment and is something we will take into account as a learning point for the future. However, we believe that this sale has gone smoothly and in a humane manner. We would like to thank you again for your interest in the property and hope that you will soon find the home of your dreams. That will undoubtedly be alright.

You send me this application via Funda: 'Dear, Is this property still available? We are a married couple, currently living in Germany. Do not yet have any income in the Netherlands, but can pay 6 months in advance. Thanks in advance, Mvg, Ischa de Vreugd' In your application you indicate yourself that there is no fixed income. It’s quite something that you now state something different but I also understand well that you cannot complain otherwise. I do understand your disappointment because it was indeed a very nice apartment. A fixed income is namely desired to give landlords more certainty. 07 Dec 2024On Wednesday, I filled out a contact form because I was interested in a property and would like to view it. Still no response on Friday afternoon, so I called myself. After repeating everything twice, I received a short answer that I would be called back. The telephone operator in question was clearly busy with other things. Still nothing heard on Tuesday afternoon. Again, I call myself and receive the short (exasperated) answer that my request had already been noted and I would be contacted. In the meantime, more than a week has passed and still nothing has been heard. It's bizarre that they can sell a house here without allowing potential buyers to view it. Very unprofessional. And after your reply here, I am even more astonished. The house for which I contacted you is indeed in your portfolio but is now naturally sold subject to contract. Your telephone operator looked it up themselves when I had them on the line because they initially didn't understand which house it was about. You never called me back and also did not email me. And what “same day” are you referring to? Because after three days, it still stood as

07 Dec 2024Strange realtor. First call the office to express interest in a property and inquire whether it was still for sale. The telephone operator didn't know that and indicated that we would be called back. Subsequently, we were called back by Björn. When I asked if the house was still for sale, I received the question 'why?' in an indignant tone. Apparently a very strange question, which they don’t often receive there. The conversation also leaned more towards an impolite than service-oriented tone. I was supposed to be called back later to discuss a viewing but heard nothing more from them... Doesn't come across as a professional real estate agency. Perhaps treat potential clients a little friendlier, then you won't lose them.

And because this appointment was in your wife's name and scheduled via her phone number, your name and phone number were indeed not known to us as an 'appointment'. I then asked you what time your appointment was. It then became clear that your wife Lillian had scheduled the appointment; so there was absolutely nothing wrong, Franklyn. What’s special about your review is that you and your family were actually very kind and friendly during the viewing. We chatted a bit ourselves. I also absolutely do not recognise myself in what you are stating now and find it very strange indeed. Presumably, your bottleneck lies elsewhere; you can always call us about that, your number is now known to us 😊 That's better than trying to post a false story anonymously as ‘Mystery User’ afterwards? Anyway?
