23 Oct 2024I had made a request for a viewing of a penthouse (with recreational use) in Cadzand with Jan de Dobbelaere. We agreed there and Jan showed me around (with few words/explanations). Also viewed the associated wellness area and asked about the procedure/use of the wellness (exclusive or shared use, sharing with the chalet park next door? etc.). This was not entirely clear how that is arranged.(?) I left with a number of questions which I subsequently drafted and sent by email to the real estate agent. Questions about the rental agreement of the landlord and previous rental income from the apartments. Since you are obliged to rent out the plot, these are legitimate questions that are important for further consideration. After all, Jan could not answer these questions on the spot. Logical; However, after waiting more than a week, we still had heard nothing or received an email. Subsequently, we decided not to proceed and look elsewhere for a holiday home. We also shared this by email, but received no response here either. A pity, and particularly disappointing, because we were enthusiastic about the property. As far as I am concerned, a missed opportunity.

We could have read that ourselves too. He didn't know how to answer any questions during the viewings. In short, very inexperienced.

28 Oct 2022I suspect they are quite selective about skin color, tattoos etc. They find guys who act like that appealing. They don't keep to the agreements. All in all, I think it’s a waste of your time.

A disturbing example of how people react when you have to disappoint them. When renting, we have so many candidates that you also have to disappoint many. We experienced this viewing as very positive and nominated you, along with several other candidates, to the landlord. It hurts us a lot how much of this kind of reaction (and this harsh, poorly substantiated comment in particular) we receive when we have to disappoint candidate tenants. It's a shame that such an intense accusation is made without even making one phone call asking why the landlord chose another party.

I had a very good conversation in which everything was explained well, what they stand for and what their working method is. Clear language - easy enough for a layman to understand - honest - sincere - friendly. They keep you well informed of progress and contacts, and if there are bumps that need to be smoothed out, they find you too. All in all very positive experiences with these guys. 28 Oct 2022How easy was it that there was a realtor in a village for a village like Schoondijke when, after much deliberation, I decided to put my house up for sale, the choice of realtor wasn't difficult. Jordy and Remy, young and full of enthusiasm, a team with a completely different approach that fits this time. I gave them a challenge and they were happy to take it on. Within a week my house was sold to a super nice couple.

09 Sep 2025It would be great to only be able to rate the accommodation, since I only had contact with the local agent for two seconds, so I can't say much about them. The accommodation is intended for four people. We were there as a couple. I realize that the houses (garden houses) are all a bit older, but they are modernly equipped. However, they should regularly replace the sleeping facilities and mattresses, not just because they are worn out. For me, the environment was the only relaxing factor, but unfortunately not the sleep quality. I would not rent or recommend this accommodation again.

Date unknownBeautiful accommodations in top locations for a fair price - exceptions confirm the rule... once the leather sofa was completely worn out, but otherwise the accommodations were always well-equipped and well-maintained. Good website, user-friendly for booking requests. Confirmation directly during office hours. Smooth, friendly handling on site. Communication also runs smoothly in German. You will receive a care package with a dishcloth, scrubbing brush, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, matches and a roll of toilet paper. Good service. It is a bit annoying that linen packages (towels, bed linen) must be booked separately for a fee and are not included in the rental price, let alone that the beds are made up with them. We also had towels once that were completely worn out and partly stained, while they clearly appeared freshly washed. So we had to return them and exchange them or reluctantly accept the rather hefty price. Neither is great. Overall, however, we have been very satisfied regular customers for years. Cadzand-Bad is our second home and we have been coming there since our childhood at least once a year. Furthermore, we miss something. ...and our children feel the same way now. Goodbye!
