Communication was good, but the number of interested buyers was disappointing, possibly resulting in the house being sold for too low a price. Only 1 serious offer in 10 weeks is very little. The same house on the street had many more potential buyers last year.

Neeskens real estate agents Goes. House purchased in Kamperland at Veerweg via Neeskens Makelaars in 2024. We were therefore the buyers. They mediated for the seller. It went reasonably well until we were to receive the key. On the day we wanted to pick up the key at the Neeskens office at Piet Heinstraat 32 in Goes, it was flatly refused because they had not yet received an official notification from the notary. A holiday became a great disappointment, especially because Neeskens turned out to be more of a 'broker factory' where effort is mainly made to realize a sale from commission interest. Only after 1.5 hours of applying pressure on site did we get the keys. Many swear words were spoken. The human touch was unfortunately far-fetched with us, in addition to a piece of incompetence. A pity because many things also went well. We are now living there with great pleasure but it wasn't fun or professional.

I noticed, both when selling the property on Langemeet in Goes and when buying an apartment in Den Bosch, that the focus of the realtor is primarily on acquiring you as a client and the sales process. Much less attention is paid to the follow-up phase, and the service is sloppy and, in my opinion, inadequate. They helped us well with the sale of our house. Staff friendly but often (too) busy and not immediately available or deployable for new ideas regarding the sale of the house. As time passes, if it takes longer than normal to sell your house, it seems as though the enthusiasm and commitment of the real estate agent also diminishes a bit. That is a shame. They do, however, have an influential finger in the pie at Goes and nice promotions.
