The realtor stated that this person had made a good offer and that we probably wouldn't do that. (very strange that a realtor makes such a statement.) Also, Robert indicated that the property was more or less not something for us given the condition it was in (another odd remark). We were certainly aware that the property needed a lot of maintenance, which was noted in the advertisement, and we saw it on the spot. But that is no problem for us given our construction background. My girlfriend subsequently called this realtor and spoke to a lady. Her excuse was that they were very sorry and that we should have made an offer because then we would have been in negotiation. Well, I can tell you that I already indicated what the property was worth to us from the first moment. However, this lady apparently didn't remember that. It is a great disappointment for us.
