Date unknownBe careful, I have had a lot of problems with this company. We filed an official complaint with the nvm. Incorrect names in the report, which we had to wait almost 4 weeks for, sloppy work and very low valuation amounts. We lost a lot of money and due to their actions our purchase did not go through. I also relied on the reviews, but I wonder if they are even legitimate.

05 Oct 2025The choice for this real estate agent was based on a historical collaboration together with a lower commission compared to a direct competitor. Unfortunately, my choice turned out to be a miss this time, but rather a debacle. Simple agreements were not followed through, such as promises regarding when feedback would be given on the subject. I had to continuously chase this real estate office. It also turned out that there was little knowledge about how certain matters work on Funda, such as automatic notifications (about an Open House) to the target group that has marked the property as a favorite. Our property attracted surprisingly little interest in the first few weeks. We would expect that a real estate agent shows pro-activeness and comes up with suggestions, but everything remained reactive throughout the entire process. Once I decided to terminate the collaboration, I had an evaluation meeting and shared my feedback. All feedback was embraced and confirmed, with a remark that there happened to be a new vacancy posted, because it had become too busy. As far as 1 extra FTE would make a difference, it was definitely too late for me. And since then I only see the property offering via this real estate agent increasing, leading me to conclude a “mass = cash strategy”. A good service provider must also be able to recognize and accept limits, and sometimes this also includes 'no sale' as well. Considering that an average house sells itself quickly, there is hardly any interest and it's relatively easy to earn money. As soon as a sale doesn't go so well on its own, you're at the mercy of fate. After this negative experience with a real estate office, I decided to engage an internet real estate agent in order to be purely listed on Funda, and then I would facilitate the viewings myself. Within a period of 3 weeks there have been multiple viewings, with also a successful sale as a result. I advise future home sellers to also consider such an option (internet real estate agent). It saves a lot of commission and in my case, all the viewers even indicated that the experience was much more positive compared to viewings via professional real estate agents.

He stated that he normally 'only deals with the higher segment' and therefore apparently felt too good for the 200K property we were opting for. Had Groenhout Makelaars not been involved, our purchase would have proceeded more pleasantly and easily. Edit: I just read the things that the poster below me posted 2 months after me: Very recognizable, our house was listed on the internet as being in good condition (except for the kitchen), but actually everything (really everything) needs to be replaced. A very unreliable and unfair realtor.

Date unknownVery disappointed in this realtor. Pieter sold us the property and withheld a lot of information. As a result, we were confronted with large, high, and unexpected costs. They do rake in the money, but don't work on a solution. Only when a bad review is posted do they react. Again very disappointed. A meeting is now proposed, but during the period when complaints rained down, it was 'not home'. You should be ashamed of how you treat customers. Just sent the people for the maintenance and repair of the plastic window frames and doors away. Again a post of over 6000 euros where we were not made aware. A viewing of just under 20 minutes and then increasing the pressure. We are sick of being completely boxed in here. A young house of 10 years says nothing.

15 Nov 2024consider this before you go into business with them. communication via phone is bad, and they simply ignore email inquiries during purchase. the thermal baths, Buurmans' land comes up for sale only once, you do want it, don't you? if you don't make a better offer, I'll put it online tomorrow. this is the normal course of events here. and if you file a complaint about this with the director, you’ll never hear anything again.

05 Aug 2025The realtor says he is open and honest. But unfortunately, our feeling is different. Mr. almost decides himself who he places in the houses he is selling. The so-called 'goodwill factor' is mentioned multiple times in his mon dtaken. Personally, I would never want him to sell our house. Glad that a competitor will soon be arriving in gieten. Mr. is not transparent. We agree with previous reviews. Very unfortunate. Would have preferred to give the realtor 5 stars but it just isn’t there.

The next day, found a 06- number through that same website. Sent a WhatsApp message in the morning and received no response. Later that same day I called again and the call was rejected... you really wonder who your selling agent is 🤔

Steenhuis was responsible for taking photos, determining the rent price, listing on Funda, screening tenants, drafting the lease agreement, and conducting the initial inspection. I had several viewings with the agent where we discussed how well the houses matched my wishes and received tips about the houses and their locations. The agent was always reachable and willing to think along. Buying at an auction remains a feeling of the buyer and what the house is worth to the buyer (how high do you want to bid for more certainty that you will get the house...)
