We came into contact with Jorrin Mulder of KIEN neighborhood real estate agent via an online request, and honestly, I was initially somewhat skeptical. My preference initially went to a well-known realtor from Oosterwolde. But because the appointment had already been scheduled, we decided to have the meeting anyway - and I haven't regretted it for a moment. His approach is personal, clear and no-nonsense. No smooth sales pitches, but simply honest advice and clear explanation of the sales strategy. Date unknownUnreliable, trained with the seller to sign the contract after verbal agreement. It had to be sent back and forth several times. The purchase agreement was almost not properly drawn up, missing signatures, there was always something wrong, it took many weeks. What turned out was that a higher bidder could snatch it away. Sour and not NVM-worthy. 06-08-2024. The response below is typical of the above story: We did not give permission for our data to be shared. Also, essential information is missing from this story. Dear Sir/Madam, First of all, thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that your esteemed purchase did not proceed as desired. To our dismay and with some astonishment, we have become aware of your experience and perception of your intended purchase. You can therefore conclude from this that we experienced the situation differently and would therefore like to explain our side of the story to you personally. Through a detailed separate letter, we provide you with a chronology of our experience in this matter, hoping that your feelings will be positively adjusted after reading it. Our response includes several essential aspects, such as your negotiation attempts after reaching a verbal agreement, your prolonged waiting attitude after we had implemented the changes you requested in the purchase agreement and offered the purchase agreement for signature, our unanswered contact attempts and the unnecessarily long stagnation of the sales process. Since the selling party did not yet have your signatures on the purchase agreement, they formally had no buyers for their home! Our usual procedure is that the selling party only signs the purchase agreement once the buying party has signed it and returned it to us. Therefore, the selling party was also unable to sign the purchase agreement, so they were also formally completely free to deal with other interested parties. The fact that they waited relatively long and gave you several opportunities to sign the purchase agreement is something we highly appreciate. In addition, your offer was a considerable €25,000,- less. Unfortunately, your attitude during this period has clearly left its mark on the entire process. You initially stated that you could act concretely and quickly, but in practice this turned out to be completely different. In our opinion, you gave us ample opportunity (i.e., approximately one month) to sign the purchase agreement, but this action was repeatedly missed. Even after we had contacted your purchasing agent several times, the purchase agreement was not signed by you. Furthermore, we honored your request to modify your suspensive conditions and addressed your remaining questions and concerns. Despite all the time we gave you, no action was taken by you and your purchasing agent, and it was not signed again and again. Even knowing that a significantly higher offer had been placed on the property by other interested parties. If you enjoy the full guidance of an experienced purchasing agent, one would expect decisive and thorough action. Unfortunately, this was not the case in your situation. Moreover, the selling party is our client and we always protect the interests of our client. Of course, we assume an advisory role and have advised several times during this sales process. You can reasonably interpret our advice to the selling party from the above text. Finally, we would like to emphasize that the selling party independently made the decision to sell the property to another party. Apart from our experience regarding your manner of communication and action, the selling party anticipated your actions and we had no say in this. However, this negative outcome for you is not part of our usual procedure. We place great importance on trust and are fully committed to guiding a transaction successfully. It was never our intention to give you a negative feeling. We hope that this provides you with some explanation of the actual course of events. You are welcome to contact us again. 14 Aug 2025As a potential buyer, it is very difficult to get a viewing. I was not called back about this initially, as promised. Had to call again myself and then they said they were fully booked. Ultimately, through contact with the homeowners (who were very surprised by the way Snoek makelaars operates), we were still able to get an appointment that had to be rescheduled on the day of the viewing due to “an important appointment”. I was already done with this realtor and now even more so. We are letting this property pass us by with great reluctance. I would not entrust the sale of my home to this firm if I lived near Oosterwolde.

What none of the real estate agents achieved in a then very difficult market, was for this agent an exercise with success. Honest, realistic, connecting where the possibilities lay, and: everyone happy. I am still indebted to him for this review, I'm zero when it comes to digital affairs and social media, which led to postponement after postponement. But it kept haunting me; the debt I owed Snoek, namely a well-deserved (!) good review. Here it is then: Snoek delivers what others cannot, he keeps his appointment, and knows how to balance in everyone's favor. An honest business! Therefore; I would do it again without hesitation. The exact possibilities for viewing were not yet known and we would be called back on Tuesday after the long Pentecost weekend. Meanwhile, it is now a week later on Friday and we have not been called back. We had to call ourselves. A decision has been made for 2 viewing days. The first one is full and the second we cannot attend due to work. And that's what you have to deal with. A slightly customer-oriented real estate agent would, in consultation with the seller, create an extra moment for us because they have been lax themselves. The housing market is so good that they really don't care at all. Look, there will be a bad period in the housing market again sometime and then these kinds of things will not be forgotten. Absolutely not recommended. You don't want a real estate agent like that.

02 Sep 2023A smooth con artist! A project started in Steenwijk concerns an apartment complex. He doesn't respond multiple times. I did have the option and had to make cost estimates. He throws in three more price increases. Subsequently, he sells it to another party. This is not a normal way of doing business. I would think ten times before entering into an agreement with this man.

Dear Mark, I will pass your compliments on to the developer. Of course, it's very easy and cheap to dismiss us like this. It’s important to give a correct representation of things, we both know how it is. Due to your privacy, we cannot write too detailed a response here. Unfortunately, neither the developer nor we can do anything about the fact that construction prices have exploded in the past year and that, as a result, the developer (which isn't us) had to increase prices several times. Ultimately, it was your own choice to drop out as a buyer, allowing the seller/developer to sell to another party (more than a month later). That’s simply how sales work, and it is certainly not fraud. We are writing this response only because you won't receive compensation for your incurred costs (not to us) is ridiculous. You yourself chose to incur these external costs in advance! You owe us absolutely no costs. Perhaps it would be good to look at your own shortcomings first before writing a review.

02 Sep 2022We had a very bad experience with Makelaar Mink. Communication is extremely slow, but the blame will never be Alex's fault and only the counterparty's. Very disappointing. We also experienced that we were massively taken advantage of, and we are talking about thousands of euros! Again, the blame lies with the counterparty, but ultimately it turns out to come from the realtor. Advice: Read your purchase contract 10 times more often and even involve a lawyer if necessary, there are many (expensive) mistakes in it! No more Makelaar Mink for us...
