A solid 5 stars for Noord and Zuidzijde real estate agents! During the purchase of our first home, we were fantastically helped by Arjan Spang. From the very first introductory meeting, the communication was pleasant and clear about what to expect. We immediately felt reassured. Even when we called the office in between, we were helped very friendly and quickly. Absolutely super! Arjan subsequently provided us with excellent advice at every viewing, so we knew exactly what to do and especially not to do. Ultimately, thanks to Arjan's good advice, it was possible to buy our first home within a few months. We are incredibly happy about this! Arjan supervised us throughout the entire process and even after the purchase, he remained genuinely interested and came to see the renovation of our house. We are very satisfied with this. Unfortunately, a very bad experience with this real estate agency. Hence the rating with one star, although I would have preferred to give 0! During the viewing of our house in Nieuwleusen, we were informed by one of the brokers from Jeanet Visser Makelaarskantoor. During the viewing, we were told that the property had been very well and lovingly maintained. Even the painting was recently done just before the sale. This already gave us the idea that there was something amiss somewhere. Nevertheless, the sellers and the broker insisted that this was not the case. Ultimately bought the house with a very decent bid where the sellers have nothing to complain about. But you can guess what… During the renovation of our house, we encountered several issues which would cause significant extra costs. Of course, it is impossible for the sellers not to have known this! Even the construction of our house turned out to be faulty and gave us a serious problem and a considerable additional cost item with its repair. A structural engineer even determined that there was a risk of collapse. It's bizarre that you continue to deny a hidden defect. In fact, this is a hidden defect. Both the sellers and Jeanet Visser Makelaar are in no way willing to arrange compensation for this and literally don’t care about us as buyers. We were told to take it to court… Even Jeanet Visser reportedly stands “squarely” behind her sellers and is otherwise little interested. As long as commission is earned on the sale of the property, everything else is totally unimportant. I would like to warn everyone about the lax and uninterested attitude of this broker. For us, in any case, it is the first and certainly the last time that we have arranged anything through this office. It’s a pity that incidents like these threaten to make you lose faith in the still good people and companies…..

Dear Thimon, It's a shame that such unnuanced reactions can be posted without consideration and our salespeople and the employees of our office are put in a bad light. The situation is that you, under the guidance of your purchasing agent Zuidzijde from Zwolle, bought this property. It was known that the purchased property was an older home. With older homes, it is recommended to have a structural survey carried out. A structural survey involves costs. You were given every opportunity to inspect the property beforehand and to have it structurally inspected (or not). You consciously omitted this, partly on the advice of your advisors. The fact that you are disappointed with the condition of the floor afterwards is unfortunate for you, but not something for which our salesperson or broker can be held liable. If you had had a structural survey carried out, you could have saved yourself a lot of costs. Our salespeople are in no way responsible for this. This has also been clearly explained to you. It is clear from your story that you did not like hearing this message. If someone is not responsible for something, there is no reason to compensate you for the costs. Again; a structural survey could have saved you a lot of money. As selling brokers, we stand 100% behind our client. I find it deplorable and very bad that you portray our salesperson in a negative light like this.
