Therefore, the sales process could sometimes be quite complex. That required extra effort from us as well as the real estate agent. 15 Aug 2025As a potential buyer, it is very difficult to get a viewing. I was not called back about this initially, as promised. Had to call again myself and then they said they were fully booked. Ultimately, through contact with the homeowners (who were very surprised by the way Snoek makelaars operates), we were still able to get an appointment that had to be rescheduled on the day of the viewing due to “an important appointment”. I was already done with this realtor and now even more so. We are letting this property pass us by with great reluctance. I would not entrust the sale of my home to this firm if I lived near Oosterwolde.

15 Jun 2025As one of the first people called on Friday to view a property that wasn't even listed on Funda yet. The exact possibilities for viewing were not yet known and we would be called back on Tuesday after the long Pentecost weekend. Meanwhile, it is now a week later on Friday and we have not been called back. We had to call ourselves. A decision has been made for 2 viewing days. The first one is full and the second we cannot attend due to work. And that's what you have to deal with. A slightly customer-oriented real estate agent would, in consultation with the seller, create an extra moment for us because they have been lax themselves. The housing market is so good that they really don't care at all. Look, there will be a bad period in the housing market again sometime and then these kinds of things will not be forgotten. Absolutely not recommended. You don't want a real estate agent like that.

We hebben ons nieuwe huis gekocht via Mijnbuitenplaats en onze huidige woning binnen zéér snelle periode van 2 weken verkocht. We zijn meer dan tevreden, eerlijke mensen, zeer kundig en geen poespas gewoon duidelijkheid en weten wat je te wachten staat. Er wordt veel voor je uit handen genomen en ze snappen hoe spannend zo'n periode kan zijn! Wij kijken met een zeer goed gevoel terug op een toch wel hele drukke hectische periode maar met Beke en Jan-Douwe zouden we het zo nog een keer overdoen! Nogmaals bedankt voor alles! 25 Dec 2025Vanwege de goede ervaringen met de verkoop van ons vorige huis door Beke en Jan Douwe, de makelaardij Mijn Buitenplaats opnieuw gevraagd met de verkoop van een huis dat door een noodlottig ongeval vanuit een nalatenschap verkocht moest worden. Hoewel deze makelaars normaal prachtige huizen in hun bestand hebben, was dit huis van een geheel ander niveau. Bovendien waren er gevoeligheden. Het was weer fijn om in goede onderlinge samenwerking tot een mooi (in meerdere opzichten) resultaat te komen. onderliggende voorwaarden hiervoor: Veel aandacht voor integer werken. Goede onderlinge communicatie. Vanuit een realistische prijsstelling de markt verder zijn werk laten doen.

25 Jan 2025'Which real estate agent should I choose to sell the house of my deceased uncle? How can I choose the right person when I live 1500 km away abroad? How will that remote collaboration work and who can I really trust in that process?'... Just a small selection of my thoughts, which some may recognize when it comes to selling a house ;-) My father and I have spoken with several real estate agents, but Beke and Jan-Douwe were different from the very first moment. They made us feel, above all else, that they saw US, not the house, the sale or 'the Deal' at the end of the road. And this feeling turned out to be absolutely correct; Beke and Jan-Douwe are worth their weight in gold! They have the talent to connect with their clients. They made my father and me feel seen and heard about what is important to us. In my opinion, this is the most important thing in such a valuable process as selling a house. Both in the preparatory discussions and in every subsequent contact, we were taken step by step through the process. Beke and Jan-Douwe were ALWAYS perfectly prepared and took a huge amount of work (and worries) off our hands. A sale 'at a distance' from abroad can be a very tiring procedure, but thanks to the regular updates via WhatsApp (great reports of the various viewings, regular telephone contact about the next steps, checking and explaining the procedures again before anything was decided, etc...) it felt as if I were there myself and it was a very pleasant process. I am incredibly grateful to Beke and Jan-Douwe for the incredibly good, fast and highly professional work they have done. I couldn't have made a better choice, both professionally and personally you are simply TOP! I can truly wholeheartedly recommend working with Beke and Jan-Douwe and having them sell or buy your house. Beke and Jan-Douwe, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for everything !! :-)'

Beke and Jan-Douwe guided us exceptionally well for over a year in our search for a home! We searched almost all of Friesland and ultimately, thanks to them, were able to acquire our dream home. They saved us from quite a few serious mistakes on several occasions, and acted decisively at precisely the right moments. They really know the Frisian housing market inside and out, they recognize the pitfalls and point out things that a layman easily overlooks. 29 Dec 2022For the purchase of a home I was looking for a real estate agent and that's how I ended up with Astrid. How happy I was with her! So careful and thorough in the viewings we did together. No corner was overlooked, the smallest things were noticed. Mostly just to let me know that it existed so I could take it into account, but sometimes also with the message that she didn't quite trust something. In that case, she would immediately investigate everything thoroughly and inquire with professionals when necessary (regarding possible mold). It was incredibly nice walking through a house with her where I could mainly focus on my feeling about the house and I had her to look critically and thoroughly. Also in all steps from the moment I found a beautiful home until the transfer, she was incredibly pleasant. The negotiation, reviewing all documents, alert and sharp and again thorough in everything around the transfer. And above all, she is a very pleasant and nice person to go through this process with! 30 Aug 2025Called this realtor multiple times for a viewing In this case, it couldn't be earlier because the realtor wants to do the viewings themselves and was on vacation. So only able to plan something for September 2nd. Then you get canceled because the property is already sold. Very strange. You are put on another schedule and then they shut you down. You don't even get a chance to make an offer while you wanted to set up an appointment on the day of publicity! In short!? Scammers. Selling quickly is nice but you don't even get a fair chance to make an offer! Everything revolves around making quick money.
