You make an appointment take time off from work plan it in for a viewing to rent a building and then you get a phone call that they have rented it out to someone else twice !! 23 Sep 2025After making one phone appointment on the condition that it would be an honest and sincere energy label, I proceeded with Vergoossens real estate. This good man, Jack Vergoossens, was punctual, friendly, and seemed competent. He was pleased to see that I had taken photos of the entire renovation from A to Z, documenting all insulation in the walls and floor regarding thicknesses and materials, floor heating, heat pump, and heat pump boiler. Apparently, it often happens that people make their homes energy-efficient but have no provable evidence of this, and then the person responsible for the energy label cannot do anything about bringing the house to a higher level. After measuring the entire house and noting everything down, two hours later I asked Jack Vergoossens if the renovation had borne fruit? The answer was that it would certainly be an A rating, maybe even with a +, but he wouldn't know for sure until all calculations were done. Five days later we received the results of the energy label, and to our disbelief, a house from 1947 went from an F to an A+++ energy label. We never expected this from ourselves.
