23 Nov 2024The realtor put my elderly parents under pressure with the message that they would end up at the bottom of the list again if they didn't accept the rental apartment. Promised in black and white that defects would be resolved within 4 weeks and completely withdrew his hand when the ink was still wet, referring to the rental company Eresm for which he acts as an intermediary. Don't fall for it! Zero support and defects are still far from being resolved after almost 1.5 years.

After living here together for 100 years (slightly exaggerated😉) on the Island, you pretty much know all the real estate agents. Alwin distinguishes himself because he has a pleasant and approachable personality and doesn't charge exorbitant brokerage fees. Just nice doing business with this man! Last but not least,… When I asked Alwin if he would like to do something for KiKa (for which I am an ambassador) when I gave him the assignment, he didn’t hesitate for a second. 12 Oct 2024Had to make an appointment 3 times for a viewing, then viewed the house and made an offer, we were told that the owner would consider it and get back to us. Our bid remained in our move account. After a week, the bid was increased and we called again. We were told that another bid had been placed and accepted. It's not nice not to inform us about this and we feel like we were being strung along, so no, not a pleasant experience when you constantly have to call the ladies.

Date unknownAppointment made for the viewing of a commercial building. The real estate agent doesn't know the VVE costs. Promises to call back about it, unfortunately forgets that. I had to call back and made an offer which is already being swept off the table by the real estate agent. But she promises to discuss it with the seller because she says she is obligated to do so and promises to call me back as soon as possible, unfortunately forgetting me again and after a few days I call to see if she knows anything yet. You are actually in negotiation but unfortunately she had decided herself to proceed further with other candidates because she interpreted my offer in her own way as a final offer. And she had simply decided that it wasn't interesting enough. I didn’t even get the opportunity to adjust my bid because she was already working with other candidates. Very unprofessional, careless and particularly arrogant. Too bad but there will come a time when real estate agents will have a hard time. I wonder if they can still afford such an attitude then.

And again, everything went perfectly: a quick sale for a great price. Expert, professional, kind people. Had a lot of contact with Jeroen and Nienke. They are a breath of fresh air to work with. And even when something needs to be resolved that isn't directly related to the sale itself, Nienke is immediately ready to assist you. Well, I don't have any more houses to sell. Date unknownRidiculous appraisal value. Appraisal value lower than a WOZ value, how is that possible? In the appraisal report it states that I did not submit a signed purchase agreement. However, I immediately sent it by email. That while there was also telephone contact about this. The houses compared to my new build from 2019 had either half the living and plot area or were 50 years old. Incidentally, it almost never happens that a house is appraised below the actual WOZ value. Of course, we had already contacted other real estate agents who also perform appraisals on the island and are from the island. It was exactly about 3. The funny thing is, all 3 gave an indication of what would fall within the €10,000 margin. Van Rossum? He was over €70,000 below the actual appraisal value. After I confronted the appraiser with the errors in the report and the ridiculously low value, Mr. was not impressed and did not want to revise his mistakes in the report. Of course, went for a second opinion which also concluded that the report was nonsense. The advisor also contacted Van Rossum and said 'What is this?!?' Subsequently sending reminders that we must pay the bill. While this type of thing is only paid at the end of the purchase process by a notary. Fortunately, we had a significant equity and were able to close this gap nicely and there were no problems. People please stay away from Van Rossum and especially if you are a starter. Absolute amateurs
