Date unknownUnder the guise of "I don't have a key," we were unable to view the garage at our new house. They assured us that there was a loft and electricity. At handover, you are told that the garage lock is broken, no loft exists, and the electricity doesn't work. Because we expect 10 people and 2 suppliers the weekend after, we reluctantly agreed anyway. WRONG!!! This broker wants to "buy off" all of this with €200,= . Just the garage lock would already cost €250,= excl. VAT and excl. installation. Don't let these cowboys pull the wool over your eyes like we did. Read everything carefully because it is all covered in small print and pretty talk. Check everything, and if you can’t check something, DO IT CORRECTLY. If you still do business with these cowboys, make sure you have good legal assistance. Trust is good, but checking is better

03 Jan 2025Earlier this year on the line to sell our house 'in a few months'. Had good experiences years ago with Jasper and Trudy (??) who worked there then, so now another attempt was made. Unlike other contacted real estate agents, he didn't come across as professional. Reception friendly and warm by the lady behind the counter. The office was somewhat grimy (carpeting, door to private room) and didn’t smell very fresh (cigarette smoke). The realtor himself seemed uninterested, slumped down, wrote nothing down, we just had to get back in touch when there was a concrete date. Another realtor came to our home in the same week and was much more decisive: therefore, De Vree wasn't chosen.

Date unknownInitial contact with broker Sander Toussaint was perfectly fine. There was thoughtful collaboration and all communication was more than satisfactory. Based on a viewing through this broker, I also bought the house I had my eye on. So far so good, until I started living in the house and hidden defects emerged. Despite the fact that the house was advertised as completely restored on the outside, several problems have arisen over time: - moisture in the walls (paint is peeling off walls) due to lack of or poor insulation - mold formation on interior walls due to lack of or poor insulation - problems with the roof (leakage, loose roof tiles) - outward-opening exterior doors (to the garden) do not close properly (1 door does not close well, drafts in the house) - wooden planks at the back of the house are coming loose (nailed) - single glazing (where double glazing was advertised, energy label G) - damage to the exterior facade (literal text Aegon after claim: 'The damage to your exterior facade has occurred because your bricks allow moisture through and there is a defect. In article 2.9 of the conditions 3021 of your insurance we mention a number of situations where damage is not insured. Damage that has arisen due to moisture penetration of walls and own defect') The interior was handed over as shell, so I was aware of that. For the viewing/inspection, the ground floor received a quick coat of paint, so the mold formation was only visible later upon moving in. I can blame myself for never having had a structural inspection carried out, but such major problems should not exist/arise or be resolved immediately if they are indicated by the buyer. Problems were, of course, reported directly by telephone and in writing to the broker, and a contractor was brought in for the roof at the time, which did resolve the leak and loose roof tiles. Another contractor later came to look at the outward-opening doors, but never heard from them again, as it was supposed to be handled through the broker. Nothing more was ever heard about the other problems from the broker either. Finally, even a registered letter received no response..... Tip: save yourself the frustrations and don't do business with this broker! PS. My neighbors have also experienced similar problems during/after purchasing their homes. Update: The initial reaction of this broker was that the working methods and processes had been significantly improved and is now adapted to a kind of semi-funny reply with smileys. Says enough about this party!

Dear Bobbie, it's nice to hear from an old classmate. In our archives, we found that it was already 7 years ago when you bought the shell-ready house at Noordeinde 12 in Spijkenisse for € 105,000,- . You were happy with this opportunity because you stated that buying a ready-to-live-in home was not financially feasible for you at the time. As you know, the house had to be completely renovated and we pointed out the age clause in the deed of sale stating that the house was built according to different building standards than now. Rising damp is almost unavoidable in old houses which do not have a crawl space and are founded on steel. Installing good ventilation in combination with a furred wall and impregnating the walls during your renovation should alleviate your problem considerably. You indicate that your neighbors have the same problem? Do you mean your brother who also bought a shell-ready house? The houses were sold to you then at already low prices, because a lot had to be done. You were aware of this. Nevertheless, we find it a troublesome situation for you. We are always prepared to help you get rid of your problem and buy the house back from you at the purchase price of then ;-). You are always welcome for a good cup of coffee, renovation advice and a sharp sales brokerage if you want to sell.

Ik had een snitzel mij n man de lamshaasjes Het eten was prima, maar er was geen patat of iets van gebakken aardappeltjes bij de lamshaasjes a 29.95, dit moet je er los bij bestellen a 6,75 en dan vind ik meer dan 35 euro voor een paar stukjes vlees best karig maar dit is dan ook het enige minpuntje. Verder was alles zeker naar wens ook het dessert was heerlijk en de bediening vriendelijk.

24 Sep 2025Heerlijk gegeten bij het Spui. De locatie is prachtig en heeft een chique, hotelachtige uitstraling. Het eten en drinken waren echt van hoge kwaliteit – daar was niets op aan te merken. Complimenten ook aan de keuken! Wat ik wel jammer vond, is dat de hele beleving wat gehaast aanvoelde. De bediening is erg hard aan het werk (en dat doen ze met een glimlach), maar als gast krijg je het gevoel dat je binnen korte tijd weer buiten staat. Alsof er continu haast achter zit. Voor mij en mijn gezelschap hoort uit eten gaan juist een relaxed moment te zijn, waarbij je rustig kunt genieten van het eten en elkaars gezelschap. Ik denk dat het Spui met een wat meer ontspannen tempo in de bediening nóg beter tot zijn recht zou komen. De kwaliteit en de ambiance zijn er absoluut voor aanwezig om echt een topavond neer te zetten. Kortom: een prachtige plek met heerlijk eten, waar hopelijk nog wat meer rust in de ervaring wordt gebracht. Dan is het plaatje compleet.

15 Sep 2025Het eten was heerlijk en we hoefden nauwelijks te wachten. Vriendelijke en attente bediening. Zelfs ons jongste kind kreeg een klein cadeautje bij de rekening. De sfeer is erg prettig als je buiten zit, direct aan het water. Een echte aanrader, we komen graag terug.

15 Jul 2025Aanvankelijk waren wij super enthousiast. Prachtig opgemaakt bord en heer-lijk eten. Ik vroeg om de kaart want ik luste nog wat sushi. Ik was de restjes nog van mijn bord aan het eten en vond een haar. En nog een en nog een. En mijn vriend vond er nog een. Kan gebeuren maar ik had geen honger meer. Gaf het aan bij het personeel. Die loopt gewoon weg. Geef het bij het afrekenen nog eens aan toen ze vroegen of alles naar wens was. En ook die man liep gewoon weg. Echt bizar. En jammer ook. Prachtig restaurant, prachtig eten, waardeloze service. Nog geen excuses kon er vanaf.
