After meeting with several real estate agents, it quickly became clear that Kompas was the right choice for us. All worries were taken off our hands and we literally only had to sit back for a week. Our house was sold within just one week. The communication (phone calls, email, and WhatsApp) was really top-notch and we received super quick responses. The entire team at Kompas is incredibly friendly and 'human', you would almost forget that you are selling your home. Date unknownUnder the guise of "I don't have a key," we were unable to view the garage at our new house. They assured us that there was a loft and electricity. At handover, you are told that the garage lock is broken, no loft exists, and the electricity doesn't work. Because we expect 10 people and 2 suppliers the weekend after, we reluctantly agreed anyway. WRONG!!! This broker wants to "buy off" all of this with €200,= . Just the garage lock would already cost €250,= excl. VAT and excl. installation. Don't let these cowboys pull the wool over your eyes like we did. Read everything carefully because it is all covered in small print and pretty talk. Check everything, and if you can’t check something, DO IT CORRECTLY. If you still do business with these cowboys, make sure you have good legal assistance. Trust is good, but checking is better

28 Dec 2024Earlier this year on the line to sell our house 'in a few months'. Had good experiences years ago with Jasper and Trudy (??) who worked there then, so now another attempt was made. Unlike other contacted real estate agents, he didn't come across as professional. Reception friendly and warm by the lady behind the counter. The office was somewhat grimy (carpeting, door to private room) and didn’t smell very fresh (cigarette smoke). The realtor himself seemed uninterested, slumped down, wrote nothing down, we just had to get back in touch when there was a concrete date. Another realtor came to our home in the same week and was much more decisive: therefore, De Vree wasn't chosen.

25 Oct 2025Up to 2 times a viewing was canceled, no further contact with the real estate agent after that. I heard from my neighbor that Mr. Toussaint has been involved in several legal cases with his company Huurgarant, however this is of course hearsay and not related to his real estate agency.

25 Oct 2025I wanted to respond to a property listing, however after calling the office I was supposed to be called back by Mr. Toussaint, this happened twice but did not occur, very poor service. Meanwhile, another real estate agent succeeded

Date unknownA strange real estate agency. You give them a job and then you expect them to keep communicating. That seems like one of the most important qualities of a real estate agency. Unfortunately, I had to chase after things for two months and it turned out an employee had spontaneously disappeared. No one at the office could tell me anymore and I was never informed by Toussaint Makelaardij myself. I noticed that the employee also lacked knowledge of the housing market and made several mistakes. Very sorry that I went with Toussaint Makelaardij. But if we are going to sell one of our properties, we at least now know where not to be. Very unprofessional and also very rude.
