17 Jun 2024As a tenant, not recommended. Very poor communication and difficult to reach. Complaints are not taken seriously or addressed. The condition of the property was also very bad, which was not properly communicated at the beginning. We have to pay €1250 every month for a heavily moldy house with a sewer leak (so odor nuisance), where nothing was done about it. We are very disappointed!

28 Dec 2024Earlier this year on the line to sell our house 'in a few months'. Had good experiences years ago with Jasper and Trudy (??) who worked there then, so now another attempt was made. Unlike other contacted real estate agents, he didn't come across as professional. Reception friendly and warm by the lady behind the counter. The office was somewhat grimy (carpeting, door to private room) and didn’t smell very fresh (cigarette smoke). The realtor himself seemed uninterested, slumped down, wrote nothing down, we just had to get back in touch when there was a concrete date. Another realtor came to our home in the same week and was much more decisive: therefore, De Vree wasn't chosen.

04 Feb 2025I would never recommend Remax to my friends and family. We had a bad experience with them when we bought our first house. The communication with the person who was supposed to help us was very poor. For example, he didn't show up at the last meeting where we signed the house contract, even though he said he would. This wasn't the first incident either. It was a shame!

He had a clear story and knowledge of the subject matter. Ultimately, his approach proved to be the right one as well. Fortunately, the real estate agent helped me with everything to complete the transaction very well, and many things to communicate and handle with the government were taken care of for me.

24 Feb 2025The washing machine in my apartment stopped working, so I contacted Charlotte Koenen of Verra Makelaars via email. Charlotte immediately responded to my email and tried all methods to help me solve the problem remotely. As we discovered that the issue was more complicated, Charlotte helped me arrange a specialist (Feriani from Fortius Cleaning & Onderhoud) to visit my apartment. Feriani is great. He quickly fixed the problem, the washing machine now works perfectly. It was a wonderful experience and once again many thanks to Charlotte Koenen!

They were easily accessible by phone and also took the initiative to call back. In short, they were very involved in the entire sales process. Charlotte Koenen and all other colleagues at Verra have always helped me very well, quickly and kindly in every respect. The apartment has never been vacant for a single day, not even when tenants changed. Verra always found a new tenant within no time, and importantly, really nice tenants. When something like a leak occurred, Verra always addressed it immediately and resolved it. Thank you Charlotte Koenen and all other colleagues at Verra, for the good care and very good service.

24 Jan 2025My experience with Verra is very bad. Either the expertise is very poor, or the disinformation is intentional. I give one star for recommending the apartment specifically from the area in which I was interested, because luckily (?) it was all on their own list and they really wanted to get it rented out. Suggestions to see other apartments that would fall within my budget had to come from myself. Incorrectly informed items: 1. The apartment was advertised as fully furnished, as seen during the viewing, with the exception of the TV and some personal belongings. Upon moving in, I notice that the 'personal belongings' are broader than I assumed, since the apartment was actually empty. Verra took no responsibility for miscommunication and it is true that I did not ask everything in writing that I wanted to stay there. I am glad they at least left the bed, washing machine and a few spoons, as I also didn’t confirm them. 2. After moving in, I discovered that there is no TV/internet cable running to the house. It took months for Verra, together with the owner/internet provider, to find a solution for internet in the apartment. Ultimately, I organized the installations myself and sent the bill to the owner. 3. Verra has also had problems with my rental agreement, rent statement and providing translations of documents that I have to sign. Communication about how these are resolved is poor or does not exist. Update: Although I had confirmed with Verra (via email) that heating should be included in the rent, this is not the case in the contract they entered into with my company (not with me). I only found out about this a year later when Verra asked for reimbursement. I have no insight into the contract and the requested information has also not been provided to me. Again, no responsibility is taken on the part of Verra due to their disinformation between counterparties. I would not trust them to work with them again due to a lack of transparency.

If we put something online for under 2000 euros, we get 600 responses. It is simply impossible to talk to any of these applicants. I hope you understand our position.
