23 Aug 2024Appointment made for the viewing of a commercial building. The real estate agent doesn't know the VVE costs. Promises to call back about it, unfortunately forgets that. I had to call back and made an offer which is already being swept off the table by the real estate agent. But she promises to discuss it with the seller because she says she is obligated to do so and promises to call me back as soon as possible, unfortunately forgetting me again and after a few days I call to see if she knows anything yet. You are actually in negotiation but unfortunately she had decided herself to proceed further with other candidates because she interpreted my offer in her own way as a final offer. And she had simply decided that it wasn't interesting enough. I didn’t even get the opportunity to adjust my bid because she was already working with other candidates. Very unprofessional, careless and particularly arrogant. Too bad but there will come a time when real estate agents will have a hard time. I wonder if they can still afford such an attitude then.

20 Dec 2024Earlier this year on the line to sell our house 'in a few months'. Had good experiences years ago with Jasper and Trudy (??) who worked there then, so now another attempt was made. Unlike other contacted real estate agents, he didn't come across as professional. Reception friendly and warm by the lady behind the counter. The office was somewhat grimy (carpeting, door to private room) and didn’t smell very fresh (cigarette smoke). The realtor himself seemed uninterested, slumped down, wrote nothing down, we just had to get back in touch when there was a concrete date. Another realtor came to our home in the same week and was much more decisive: therefore, De Vree wasn't chosen.
