Under the guise of "I don't have a key," we were unable to view the garage at our new house. They assured us that there was a loft and electricity. At handover, you are told that the garage lock is broken, no loft exists, and the electricity doesn't work. Because we expect 10 people and 2 suppliers the weekend after, we reluctantly agreed anyway. WRONG!!! This broker wants to "buy off" all of this with €200,= . Just the garage lock would already cost €250,= excl. VAT and excl. installation. Don't let these cowboys pull the wool over your eyes like we did. Read everything carefully because it is all covered in small print and pretty talk. Check everything, and if you can’t check something, DO IT CORRECTLY. If you still do business with these cowboys, make sure you have good legal assistance. Trust is good, but checking is better

Ver-Huis makelaars raad ik iedereen aan. Jasper heeft ons goed geholpen en is zelfs tijdens zijn vakantie bereikbaar. Maar ook zijn collega Robin kan je dan goed helpen. De kennismaking was snel gepland en verliep heel prettig, het klikte gelijk. We zochten een aankoopmakelaar maar hebben uiteindelijk toch een huis gevonden in een andere regio. Toen ik Jasper hierover belde, bracht hij mij in contact met een bekende makelaar uit de regio waar ons huis staat. En dankzij hem werd het bod geaccepteerd!! Of course, we chose Ravens for this process due to the pleasant feeling we had. What a joy. Everything was quickly and clearly arranged. We were helped from A to Z throughout this process, and where you yourself look at houses through rose-colored glasses, the buyer's agent points out realistic points that you wouldn't otherwise consider. Earlier this year on the line to sell our house 'in a few months'. Had good experiences years ago with Jasper and Trudy (??) who worked there then, so now another attempt was made. Unlike other contacted real estate agents, he didn't come across as professional. Reception friendly and warm by the lady behind the counter. The office was somewhat grimy (carpeting, door to private room) and didn’t smell very fresh (cigarette smoke). The realtor himself seemed uninterested, slumped down, wrote nothing down, we just had to get back in touch when there was a concrete date. Another realtor came to our home in the same week and was much more decisive: therefore, De Vree wasn't chosen.

The realtor put my elderly parents under pressure with the message that they would end up at the bottom of the list again if they didn't accept the rental apartment. Promised in black and white that defects would be resolved within 4 weeks and completely withdrew his hand when the ink was still wet, referring to the rental company Eresm for which he acts as an intermediary. Don't fall for it! Zero support and defects are still far from being resolved after almost 1.5 years.

Today, March 17th, was the handover of our house to the new residents. What a lot Stephanie from Xtra Real Estate arranged for us between November and today! She put in remarkably much time during the preliminary consultation, was present for all hours during the photo reportage. Every viewing that came onto the agenda was communicated from the backoffice (top!). And there were no less than 17 of them; Stephanie called us daily at our vacation address to discuss the progress. Very nice too: an appointment is an appointment, you didn't have to doubt whether an appointment would be kept. And even after the agreement was signed, we could arrange for further support. Changing the planned handover date: I’ll take care of it, you don’t need to do anything. And that’s how the whole process went. And all of this for a fixed price, so no percentage on the selling price. That's enough of this advertisement, but it is 100% deserved. Deep bow for Stephanie and ‘the rest’ of Xtra Real Estate!
