Under the guise of "I don't have a key," we were unable to view the garage at our new house. They assured us that there was a loft and electricity. At handover, you are told that the garage lock is broken, no loft exists, and the electricity doesn't work. Because we expect 10 people and 2 suppliers the weekend after, we reluctantly agreed anyway. WRONG!!! This broker wants to "buy off" all of this with €200,= . Just the garage lock would already cost €250,= excl. VAT and excl. installation. Don't let these cowboys pull the wool over your eyes like we did. Read everything carefully because it is all covered in small print and pretty talk. Check everything, and if you can’t check something, DO IT CORRECTLY. If you still do business with these cowboys, make sure you have good legal assistance. Trust is good, but checking is better

Earlier this year on the line to sell our house 'in a few months'. Had good experiences years ago with Jasper and Trudy (??) who worked there then, so now another attempt was made. Unlike other contacted real estate agents, he didn't come across as professional. Reception friendly and warm by the lady behind the counter. The office was somewhat grimy (carpeting, door to private room) and didn’t smell very fresh (cigarette smoke). The realtor himself seemed uninterested, slumped down, wrote nothing down, we just had to get back in touch when there was a concrete date. Another realtor came to our home in the same week and was much more decisive: therefore, De Vree wasn't chosen.

Mark helped us very pleasantly with the sale of our house. He guided us through all steps in the process and thought along well with us. The approach was very personal, and the communication was good. The way he approached viewers and buyers is also personal, which we found very important. For example, Mark calmly reviewed the purchase contract with the buyers because they did not have a purchasing broker themselves. The period between sale and transfer can be long, and Mark would occasionally check in to hear how things were going. Until the moment of transfer, we could turn to him with our questions, which gave us a lot of confidence. With the approach and presentation of Aan de Maas Makelaardij, we were able to sell our house with a very beautiful result and fully adhere to our intended planning.

Super nice realtor! Eight years ago, we built a house in Rotterdam with mostly our own resources and completely according to our own ideas in an old garage building. The result was far from standard in terms of appearance and layout. From the very first conversation with Mark from Aan de Maas Makelaardij, it became clear that he flawlessly understood what the unique points of the house were, and what kind of buyers would be looking for them. He understood our wishes, knew the neighborhood, and was also always open to our eccentric opinion. Mark therefore guided us in a very pleasant and patient way during the sale, and it could not have taken place in a better way. We also had very good contact with Maarten in a short period of time. We would definitely ask Aan de Maas again if we were ever going to sell a house in the region; together they are skilled and personal realtors who won't let you down. Truly recommended!

Buying an apartment in the Netherlands is not an easy task, especially if you don't live locally and don't know how the Dutch market works, so choosing Maarten as my real estate agent was one of the best decisions in this process. Before Maarten started house hunting, I had already viewed 3 houses myself, but during the next three viewings with Maarten, I quickly realized that having an experienced real estate agent by your side is a great asset. He has a very sharp eye for detail and made sure he took notes during each viewing and pointed out important things that I would definitely miss. I immediately felt calm in this process and trusted Maarten completely. He was available on WhatsApp when I had questions and kept in touch, even during the mortgage process, which takes several weeks, and afterwards. Frits heeft ons bij alle stappen vanaf het zoeken naar een huis, de bezichtigingen tot aan de daadwerkelijke aankoop top begeleid. Hij legde alles duidelijk uit en was zeer flexibel in het maken van afspraken. De communicatie verliep soepel en snel. Door de begeleiding van Frits hebben wij weinig stress ervaren tijdens het proces van een huis zoeken/kopen, bijv. omdat Frits ook het contact met de verkoopmakelaar voor ons heeft verzorgd. De prijs is wellicht iets duurder dan concurrenten, maar Frits levert wel hoge kwaliteit. Wij zouden hem van harte aanbevelen!
