04 Feb 2025Under the guise of "I don't have a key," we were unable to view the garage at our new house. They assured us that there was a loft and electricity. At handover, you are told that the garage lock is broken, no loft exists, and the electricity doesn't work. Because we expect 10 people and 2 suppliers the weekend after, we reluctantly agreed anyway. WRONG!!! This broker wants to "buy off" all of this with €200,= . Just the garage lock would already cost €250,= excl. VAT and excl. installation. Don't let these cowboys pull the wool over your eyes like we did. Read everything carefully because it is all covered in small print and pretty talk. Check everything, and if you can’t check something, DO IT CORRECTLY. If you still do business with these cowboys, make sure you have good legal assistance. Trust is good, but checking is better

28 Dec 2024Earlier this year on the line to sell our house 'in a few months'. Had good experiences years ago with Jasper and Trudy (??) who worked there then, so now another attempt was made. Unlike other contacted real estate agents, he didn't come across as professional. Reception friendly and warm by the lady behind the counter. The office was somewhat grimy (carpeting, door to private room) and didn’t smell very fresh (cigarette smoke). The realtor himself seemed uninterested, slumped down, wrote nothing down, we just had to get back in touch when there was a concrete date. Another realtor came to our home in the same week and was much more decisive: therefore, De Vree wasn't chosen.

Ook bij het maken van de fotoreportage voor de verkoop van ons huis bleef de makelaar de hele sessie aanwezig. Bij het plannen van de bezichtigingen werd vooraf dagelijks (er kwamen 17 stellen!) gemeld hoeveel bezichtigingen er kwamen en op welke tijden. Na afloop van de dag werd er altijd een update gegeven. Ik ging erin met het idee dat je een makelaar nodig hebt vanwege de kanalen die hij of zij tot haar beschikking heeft. Denk aan foto's maken, advertenties zoals funda ... Etc. Daarin heeft Xtra makelaars meer dan aan voldaan. Wanneer je echter een eensgezinswoning hebt waar veel vraag naar is, zoals een eensgezinswoning in een rij in een leuke wijk dan is een huis verkopen heel makkelijk te doen zonde…
