27 Apr 2025A day after I had accepted a nice offer on my house, I was working in my garden and heard someone say on the street: 'see, this house doesn't have a dormer window'. I immediately got a bad feeling and indeed my realtor called that the buyers were withdrawing the offer and making a lower offer. The voice on the street turned out to be Mrs. Mooij. There was no more room for negotiation, it was swallow or choke. That was obviously misjudged in this market: I had more bids and didn't want to deny these buyers anymore. The house is now sold perfectly well. Moreover, my neighbors with dormer windows have a house that is 30,000 euros more expensive and the lack of a dormer window was clearly evident during the viewing. Regarding judgment and politeness, this wasn't a good showing for this realtor!

On a certain day, there were too many viewers booked at the same time within a short period, with insufficient staffing/supervision from Mooij. Afterwards, I noticed that my cupboards had been looked into (and these were not items of furniture left behind), which I found very unpleasant. I had just expressed my concerns beforehand. Many items that were in plain sight had also already been removed. It also happened that an appointment for a viewing was made and no one from Mooij was present at that time, and they were unreachable by phone for a long time. Ultimately, I myself had to conduct the viewing with an interested buyer.

We knew exactly what to expect and what to pay attention to. What we also greatly appreciated was their excellent accessibility. They were always available for questions and advice, even outside of regular office hours. This gave us the ability to quickly switch gears and act decisively. The collaboration was very pleasant. In addition to their expert advice during viewings, these viewings were also enjoyable, which facilitated the search. During negotiations, they got everything out of it for us. Thanks to their perseverance and decisiveness, we now have a beautiful house at a good price. Although Ruijgrok is not the cheapest, you absolutely get value for your money. The quality of their service and the results they deliver make it more than worth every euro.
