Very pleasant man and team to be in contact with, but also to work with. They are very accessible, respond very quickly and have excellent knowledge of the real estate world. Even when I went against his advice, he continued to think along and cooperated smoothly. He is creative, solution-oriented, and really thinks with you. Despite the enormous pressure on the housing market, I never felt like a number with Van Rhijn Makelaars. They were involved, fast, and always accessible. My house was ultimately sold well, and I was completely relieved of responsibility throughout the process. If you want to sell your property in Gouda or the surrounding area, then, as far as I'm concerned, Van Rhijn Makelaars is the right choice. 17 Dec 2024Bad experience with a nasty aftertaste. Does not honor agreements, is careless and unreasonable. Agreements made in move account were not kept. Incorrect data published in both the move account and the funda advertisement. When inquiring with the broker about this, he reacted defensively and extremely unreasonably. And washing hands of innocence. As a result, we have been misled and had to incur high extra costs. Afterwards, when asking around, other people shared a similar experience. Our advice would be not to enter into business with this real estate agent.

If you call the real estate agent himself, he doesn't answer but only calls back after 36 hours, even if you request a callback through the office. Presumably, he takes on too much work which means you don't get much time with the real estate agent himself. He is knowledgeable, though.

Date unknownUnreliable! On the day of the signing of the deed for our house, we discovered during a pleasant chat with the buyers that they are very good friends of our realtor Mr. D. van 't Hooft. Our realtor failed to disclose this fact to us. The buyers (the friendly family) were the first viewers. According to the realtor, another viewer came afterwards, but he already indicated that day that he was not interested. Looking back on the entire course of events (including initially advising a low selling price), we now seriously doubt the integrity of this realtor. As an NVM realtor, did he act in our best interest as clients? We now think that there were multiple interested parties and that he kept them at arm's length. If we had known about his connection with the buyers, we might have made very different choices. The unprofessional conduct of the realtor unfortunately provides room for this doubt.

Furthermore, the service is flexible and fast; it feels as if you are the only client, truly superb. The buyer is also enthusiastic and chose Pieter as the real estate agent for the sale of his house. The sale went smoothly; Pieter maintains a good balance between aiming for a good return and simultaneously assessing what a reasonable price is given market conditions. His rate was slightly lower than that of two other agents. We are very satisfied!

During viewings, Jos was always well-prepared with further information about the property and comparable properties. Afterwards, based on his observations and experience, he gave his honest opinion. This removed question marks and doubts regarding the condition, value, and future prospects of the property, allowing me to confidently place a bid. In addition, potentially interesting properties were conveniently shared via WhatsApp, and Jos and other employees always responded quickly to questions. The involved employees were also very helpful; for example, I was able to ride along to a viewing once.

They assisted well in the preliminary phase, to ensure that if we made an offer, it was known beforehand that we could afford that amount. During the pandemic, they were patient and helpful in searching for a property. Furthermore, they were a good sparring partner in considering whether we really wanted to make an offer on a home. It was also very nice that we could ride along with our purchasing agent on the way to a property, precisely when we had car trouble. Moreover, we received a discount because we are selling our house through them and buying another one. Thanks to them, we made a well-considered decision in the purchase of our new home.
