The house was listed on funda within 1.5 weeks and sold for more than the asking price within 3 days. I sold the house together with my ex-partner, she unfortunately did not leave a good review for these gentlemen, which is a shame. She was simply angry because she had little to say about the sale. I definitely recommend these gentlemen!

13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

A nice extra was that drone images of the area were made, and that much work was taken out of our hands. For example: measuring the house was not entirely correct, the real estate agent arranged for us to ensure it was correct.

07 Nov 2025About a year ago, we moved from Van der Zaanstraat 1 3317WT Dordrecht. Melvin de Makelaar represented the homeowner and behaved very impolitely towards us, the tenants, during checkout. First, they were late for our checkout appointment and then they told us that we had to pay for a dirty oven. We asked for it to be cleaned, which was 20 minutes of work, but he refused. Later, he deducted €250 from our deposit. Very impolite behavior, I would never recommend this real estate agent. By the way, I later complained to the owner and got my money back.

Dear Mesic family, It is surprising to see that more than a year after the end of your rental period, various family members are posting negative reviews. At that time we followed the standard and professional procedure. At the beginning of each rental period a detailed check-in report is made, and at the end a check-out report. These reports simply document the condition of the property at both times. As an estate agency, we are not involved in the withholding or determining of the deposit. We only record the current situation via the inspection reports, after which the owner makes the final decision. In your case, several problems were identified during the check-out, mainly regarding hygiene. These were clearly documented in the report and supported by photos. Although this is regrettable, it could have been easily avoided if you as the tenant had handed over the property clean and well maintained. We always strive to conclude each rental period respectfully and transparently, even when there is disappointment regarding the handling of the deposit. It is regrettable that incorrect online comments can give the impression something went wrong, while all documentation shows otherwise.

Remmie has years of experience as a real estate agent and appraiser in the local housing market of Utrecht. Not a slick, quick young man, but an involved real estate agent with a positive factor. When it initially didn't go smoothly, Remmie helped keep his head cool. With some patience, and some strategic adjustments to how the property was put on the market, it was still sold quite quickly and for a good amount. Thanks to his good advice and guidance, I have more than earned back the costs of his services. If I ever needed a real estate agent again in the Utrecht region, I would call Remmie.

He makes sure that everything is arranged down to the last detail and sets clear and honest expectations for the sale of your home. 07 Aug 2025I would recommend Punt 100% if you want to buy a house in Utrecht! Because they are slightly larger than the other offices, they are flexible with scheduling viewings and ensure that you can attend, which meant that we had a house in 6 weeks, for a good price. Bas also helped us excellently afterwards with some setbacks after the purchase, much more than we expected since the sale was already finalized. Bas & Punt really stood by our side throughout - which saves a lot of worries when you buy your first home. A real estate agent is not cheap, but without Punt it would have cost us much more. Top then.

A real estate agent who knows the neighborhood where you live has several advantages. Ultimately, we chose Punt Makelaars. Punt Makelaars has a good understanding of the market in Leidsche Rijn through years of experience and uses the right tactics regarding asking price. Real estate agent Sam knew exactly how to properly market the house, and Marylene ensured smooth communication and guidance throughout the entire process. They were both always available for questions and kept us well informed about developments on the buyer's side. Even on weekends, the sales process continued, and Sam was always available to provide us with explanations and advice. In short, we had a top-notch experience with Punt Makelaars. Highly recommended!

07 Oct 2025I put my property in the higher segment in Hoef and Haag up for sale through Beumer Nieuwegein, but that turned out to be a big mistake. The house was initially priced too high. I then indicated myself that the price had to be lowered due to various reasons. Several months later, Beumer proposed lowering the asking price by more than one thousand euros (!) due to 'market conditions'. At the beginning, I was assured that there would be many viewings, but this turned out not to be the case at all. A requested viewing could only take place two weeks later because the real estate agent was on vacation. The secretary suggested doing it myself if necessary. For a property in this segment, I find this completely unprofessional. The presentation was also full of errors: for example, a sticker from another real estate agency visible on the photos, sloppiness in the sales text. Messages from interested parties were not or too late passed on. Moreover, every contact had to always come from my side. Despite me indicating multiple times that things needed to improve (and even having a conversation about it), there was no improvement at all. The entire process has been portrayed as better than it actually was right from the start. I therefore terminated the cooperation. For a property in this price segment, you expect expert advice, transparent communication and a professional approach. This is unfortunately not what I experienced with Beumer Nieuwegein. I cannot recommend this office.

It was particularly stressful to go from knowing nothing about buying a house to actually doing it. They helped me a lot at times, but sometimes the structure of what needed to be done could have been clearer (I kept hearing little by little 'oh and this also needs to happen'). Overall, I trust it, but I couldn't verify if I paid too much for something…
