The house was listed on funda within 1.5 weeks and sold for more than the asking price within 3 days. I sold the house together with my ex-partner, she unfortunately did not leave a good review for these gentlemen, which is a shame. She was simply angry because she had little to say about the sale. I definitely recommend these gentlemen!

13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

Through various channels, we heard about Joek and invited two others, but with Joek it clicked immediately. His different approach to selling a house and his personality gave the immediate click, a strong impression and high expectations. And nothing could be further from the truth: His clear vision, quick communication, the extra work he put in, making good photos and AI edits, perseverance, constantly coming up with new initiatives, have contributed to the sale of our home to a really nice new residents. Joek is always upbeat, comes up with new ideas when things don't go as expected, thinks along in finding solutions for the house with potential residents. Joek is definitely not an average real estate agent. First of all, the way he presents and transforms an apartment is exceptional. From styling to photography, everything is done with such care and taste that the property truly looks spectacular. It immediately distinguishes the property from the rest. Second, his work ethic is excellent. The communication was effortless, relaxed, and he responded incredibly quickly – often via WhatsApp, without any form of a 9-to-5 mindset. Unfortunately, I cannot respond to the reaction of the owner below and wanted to leave it at the bad review, but the response below asks for some clarification, so here’s what happened: - Tel Krop sold a house via bidding - We had the winning bid - Written confirmation from Monique Krop. List of movable assets shared. Notary confirmed. - The notary prepared the documents for the transfer - The party that had offered less in the bidding process still wanted to offer more, while we already had confirmation of the purchase and the documents were with the notary. We were offered a compensation if we would withdraw, because we were formally the buyers. - Ultimately went with the other buyer anyway, without compensating us. Not only ethically very questionable, but also illegal. I think it speaks for itself that you should stay as far away from Monique Krop as possible.

In the sales process, there is unfortunately always only 1 party that can be the buyer and people will always be disappointed. We act on behalf of our clients (in this case the sellers) and always strive for the maximum result. Because it was vacation time and the deadline to make an offer was extremely tight, we actually assumed that we had to handle this ourselves. To our surprise, Egbert Jan called us back the same day, with very valuable information. He had reviewed all documents in a very short time and immediately provided a complete and clear advice. The flexibility and thoroughness of that advice really surprised us positively. The subsequent bidding and negotiation process was short and very intense, but excellently guided. Egbert Jan managed to finalize the purchase for us. What struck us most was his personal involvement. Within no time he had dossier knowledge and even on the weekend he arranged things for us. That gave us a lot of confidence and the feeling that we weren't alone. Thanks to his commitment, we were able to buy our dream house!
