A little feedback: I would have liked it if the real estate agent had followed the buyer during the period of sale subject to contract. They still had to sell their house and it would have given us more certainty if we had known whether this was successful. 8 weeks subject to contract without hearing anything, I think is quite long.

15 Oct 2025We were looking for an agent to sell our house and on the recommendation of our neighbors, we contacted A'dam good story. Less than an hour later, Joek was sitting at our kitchen table passionately talking about his approach. He came across as no ordinary agent; he was down-to-earth, sincere, and someone who knows how to get things done. He immediately provided styling and renovation tips that would benefit the sale of our house. After meeting with Joek (who also recommended us see two other agents), we couldn't stop thinking about his approach, vision, and manner. This led us to choose him as our agent. From the moment we started working together, he brought furniture, plants, garden equipment, and carpet from his own store into our house. He even rearranged the rooms and helped with cleaning and decluttering so that everything looked perfect for the photos, which he took himself and had professionally edited. Throughout the entire process, Joek supported us with a smile and a tear in his eye, fostering a wonderful collaboration and friendship. All expectations were more than met, and looking back on it, we can say it was an exceptionally beautiful sales process. Joek is a hard worker who perfectly gauges when to push forward or slow down, handles feedback well, has a heart in the right place, and does everything in consultation to reach the best possible outcome. We would highly recommend Joek!!

The house was listed on funda within 1.5 weeks and sold for more than the asking price within 3 days. I sold the house together with my ex-partner, she unfortunately did not leave a good review for these gentlemen, which is a shame. She was simply angry because she had little to say about the sale. 13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

01 Nov 2023We were scammed by this real estate agency. We rented an apartment for 2700 (Lindengracht 332), which they touted as recently renovated and beautiful. In reality, this apartment was filthy and disgusting. The walls had black mold everywhere, the furniture was broken, every corner of the apartment was dirty, worn out, and disgusting. After being confronted with the problems, they started lying and blaming my relatives for 'not following the standard procedure', which was completely untrue. Ultimately, we had to hire a lawyer, but we did get our deposit back, but we were still ripped off by an extra €1350 by the greedy landlord who refused to take responsibility for his disgusting apartment.

That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

Unlike other real estate agents, Kevin shows a lot of commitment, flexibility, is always available for consultation, and likes to think along with the wishes of the client. In contrast to my previous real estate agent, Kevin demonstrates sharpness and extra experience to achieve the optimal outcome. Even when Kevin was busy with private circumstances, he ensured that I could have the best customer experience. His commission is also very favorable. By far the best price/quality ratio.

He possesses all the good qualities of a great real estate agent: a) Quick response, even during his vacation. Always ready to answer all our questions, especially since we as expats had more questions about the process, neighborhood, etc. b) Very well informed about the surroundings, the market and always willing to give advice based on his experience. c) We fully trusted his advice and guidance and he was always there to help beyond his scope of work. He even answered our mortgage questions. Hans, you should definitely take this job because you are too good at it. d) He has good connections and a good reputation among other real estate agents in the market, which gives him an edge or rather, a head start over others. The preparation requested for the apartment (photos, video, etc.) bore fruit, and the market knowledge our agent Mark displayed from the start was impressive. We especially appreciated that they never left us in the lurch despite all difficulties, always focused on selling our apartment. A true recommendation!!! P.S. Having said that, I fear moving is still a mess :)
