We knew exactly what to expect and what to pay attention to. What we also greatly appreciated was their excellent accessibility. They were always available for questions and advice, even outside of regular office hours. This gave us the ability to quickly switch gears and act decisively. The collaboration was very pleasant. In addition to their expert advice during viewings, these viewings were also enjoyable, which facilitated the search. During negotiations, they got everything out of it for us. Thanks to their perseverance and decisiveness, we now have a beautiful house at a good price. Although Ruijgrok is not the cheapest, you absolutely get value for your money. The quality of their service and the results they deliver make it more than worth every euro.

13 May 2025Our experience with Vida Makelaars has been frankly disappointing. One star is actually too much for this disgusting realtor! During the first viewing, we were already greeted unfriendly. The realtor made no effort to actually sell the house and seemed completely uninterested in us as potential buyers. This was an extremely unpleasant start. Despite this, it was the house we were looking for, so we decided to make an offer. Initially, the house was promised to us, we were quite happy with the house. To our surprise, however, a little later (on the day of the building inspection) we heard that our offer was not sufficient after all and that another bid had to be made, despite the fact that the house had already been sold to us. As someone in business, I have never experienced anything so unprofessional. There was also no understanding from the realtor. The only thing this unprofessional lady could say was: 'This is allowed, nothing is on paper yet.' No consideration was shown for the fact that this is morally reprehensible and absolutely unprofessional. Ultimately, we did buy the house, at a much higher price, because we really wanted it. (Fortunately, our buying realtor prevented us from making a bid that would have been another 15k higher.) Finally, again the communication with Vida was frankly unpleasant during delivery. We were once again confronted with an unfriendly and grumpy attitude from this lady. We do understand that sometimes it can be difficult to make deals, and that a realtor has to sell a house for a third party and wants to receive the best price (which also didn't succeed) but some empathy and friendliness is at least what you would expect from a realtor in my opinion. We will strongly advise everyone not to do business with this realtor ().

The persuasive texts from Sterk Makelaar are also spot on. Selling our houses was then a piece of cake. The hardest part was choosing a buyer among all the attractive offers we were allowed to receive. The house was listed on funda within 1.5 weeks and sold for more than the asking price within 3 days. I sold the house together with my ex-partner, she unfortunately did not leave a good review for these gentlemen, which is a shame. She was simply angry because she had little to say about the sale. I definitely recommend these gentlemen!

13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

I contacted them because I wanted help determining a good offer for a house, as I naturally want to make an offer that is proportionate to the house. Ultimately came up with an offer that was tens of thousands of euros above the appraisal value and above other bids. Of course, you only find out about that later. I don't understand house prices, so that’s why I engaged a buyer's agent. So yeah, too much trust. But unfortunately, Skender showed 0 reflection and responsibility in this and mainly wants his invoice to be paid.

24 May 2024We were scammed by this agency. We rented an apartment for 2700 (Lindengracht 332), which they advertised as recently renovated and beautiful. In reality, this apartment was filthy and disgusting. The walls had black mold in multiple places, the furniture was broken, and every corner of the apartment was dirty, worn out, and disgusting. After confronting them about the problems, they started lying and blaming my family members for ‘not following standard procedure’, which was completely untrue. Ultimately, we had to hire a lawyer, but we were able to get our deposit back, but we were still scammed an extra € 1350,- due to the cheap landlord who refused to take responsibility for his disgusting apartment.

He guided us well through the sales process, and was the only one of the three brokers we had invited who came up with the good idea to have photos taken during our vacation. That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

He has all the good qualities of a good Real Estate Agent: a. Electrified response, so fast even during his vacation. Very well informed about the area, the market and always willing to share advice based on his experience. C.
