Joek doesn't shy away from hard work. You yourself must also be prepared to roll up your sleeves because you do such a project together. We were a good team together. Because it is as it is, together we ensured that the house was ready for the next owners, so they can enjoy living on the Gooise Kant and enjoying the vlonder. It's not always easy to be honest and sincere but with you it was possible and only then do you see the added value. Living in Zuidoost near Nelson Mandela park has what many people are looking for on the Amsterdam housing market; lots of greenery, lots of water and yet close to the city. Have a lot of fun with your home in Assen.

04 Aug 2025I got to know Joek as the sales broker of the house where I now live. He wasn't 'hired' by me, so to speak, but if I ever sell my house again, that’s what I would do. Joek connects with people; he is genuinely interested in how they are doing, and when he looks at a property, he sees the person who lives there. Also, Joek has an eye for how to get houses photographed well, which beautiful glimpses make the house worth it. So trust him if he wants to shuffle things around! His individuality is something you either like or not (I do). Don't expect a typical broker in a suit, but a man who lovingly and creatively puts a property on the market and goes to great lengths to make the sale a pleasure for both parties.

04 May 2025Initially, I first got acquainted with Joek by phone in his role as a sales broker in the search for an apartment. During this conversation, I was surprised by the enthusiasm of the broker and the time he took to answer my questions and provide advice. Especially remarkable that this conversation took place on Friday evening, well after 18:00. His role as a sales broker changed into a purchasing broker upon acquaintance. This resulted, to our amazement and to our delight, fairly quickly in a purchase and a lovely apartment, it's A'dam Good Story. Sinda last week we received the keys to a delightful maisonette where Joek shared our joy with us. It was great working and communicating with this man. Thanks again for that! We will wholeheartedly recommend Joek to anyone who needs help in the Amsterdam housing market.

The persuasive texts from Sterk Makelaar are also spot on. Selling our houses was then a piece of cake. The hardest part was choosing a buyer among all the attractive offers we were allowed to receive. 13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

I contacted them because I wanted help determining a good offer for a house, as I naturally want to make an offer that is proportionate to the house. Ultimately came up with an offer that was tens of thousands of euros above the appraisal value and above other bids. Of course, you only find out about that later. I don't understand house prices, so that’s why I engaged a buyer's agent. So yeah, too much trust. But unfortunately, Skender showed 0 reflection and responsibility in this and mainly wants his invoice to be paid.

16 Jul 2024We were scammed by this real estate agency. We rented an apartment for 2700 (Lindengracht 332), which they touted as recently renovated and beautiful. In reality, this apartment was filthy and disgusting. The walls had black mold everywhere, the furniture was broken, every corner of the apartment was dirty, worn out, and disgusting. After being confronted with the problems, they started lying and blaming my relatives for 'not following the standard procedure', which was completely untrue. Ultimately, we had to hire a lawyer, but we did get our deposit back, but we were still ripped off by an extra €1350 by the greedy landlord who refused to take responsibility for his disgusting apartment.

The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. When I arrived there, I was lost without information about the building, because there were multiple identical ones. Despite calling him several times, he didn't answer his phone. 13 Mar 2025In our search for a sales broker, we came into contact with Hans. The initial contact was immediately pleasant and positive. He guided us well through the sales process, and was the only one of the three brokers we had invited who came up with the good idea to have photos taken during our vacation. That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

Unlike other real estate agents, Kevin shows a lot of commitment, flexibility, is always available for consultation, and likes to think along with the wishes of the client. In contrast to my previous real estate agent, Kevin demonstrates sharpness and extra experience to achieve the optimal outcome. Even when Kevin was busy with private circumstances, he ensured that I could have the best customer experience. His commission is also very favorable. By far the best price/quality ratio.

13 Mar 2025We had a great experience throughout the entire journey with Hans Konings. He is very friendly, understands our needs and guides us through the different phases of finding a home. He has all the good qualities of a good Real Estate Agent: a. Electrified response, so fast even during his vacation. Always ready to answer all questions, especially because we are expats, we have more questions about the process, the neighborhood etc. B. Very well informed about the area, the market and always willing to share advice based on his experience. C. We relied exclusively on his advice and guidance and was always ready to help outside of his reach. He even answered our mortgage-related questions. Hans, you really should take this job too, because you are too good. D. He has good contacts and repo's with other real estate agents in the market which is a bonus point or an advantage would say compared to others. Last but not least a very good person with passion for his work and we highly recommend him. I would give him more than 5 stars if possible :). Thank you very much Hans for your help and guidance :).
