Ik ben het volledig eens met alle positieve recensies over AREA. Ik schrijf deze recensie in het Engels om meer potentiële klanten voor AREA te bereiken, ook al ben ik zelf Nederlands. Ik werk sinds ongeveer 2012 met AREA, en met name met Mick, en ik heb veel plezier beleefd aan de diensten die AREA aanbiedt: advies over hypotheken, ondersteuning bij de verhuur van mijn appartement (screening van kandidaten etc.) en uiteindelijk ook de verkoop ervan. Het totaalpakket dat AREA aanbiedt, maakt hen uniek. Mick is iemand bij wie je je op je gemak voelt, ook al waren sommige van mijn vragen soms erg basaal, voortkomend uit een gebrek aan marktkennis. Hij geeft je het gevoel dat je gewaardeerd wordt en hij heeft het vermogen om zich te richten op wie je bent en wat je specifieke behoeften zijn. In mijn geval heeft hij zich ook echt verdiept in het appartement dat ik eerst verhuurde en later verkocht. Deze kennis, die hij in de loop der tijd heeft opgebouwd, heeft enorm bijgedragen aan een succesvolle verkoop! Persoonlijk vond ik het prettig om even langs te kunnen komen voor een kopje thee en de mogelijkheden voor een hypotheek, verhuur en verkoopstrategie te bespreken. Dit werd een vast onderdeel van mijn bezoeken aan Amsterdam. Dankzij een goed team en een uitstekende klusjesman kan ik AREA van harte aanbevelen.

Ik heb deze makelaar al eens ingeschakeld een paar jaar geleden en werd ook deze keer weer positief verrast door de deskundigheid en professionaliteit. En heel specifiek ik had mij gevraagd totaal te ontzorgen dus regel dat het appartement wordt leeggehaald, onderzoek wel onderhoud nodig is en regel dit, laat huis restylen enz. Area has exactly the right combination of expertise, customer focus and a personal approach. It's no wonder we have already sold and purchased two houses with Area. The collaboration is good, it’s (almost) a shame that it’s ending!

We paid a little bit extra than the market price for an extra quality of the service (also result). Generally speaking, the service is good. Only their knowledge regarding energy report towards the notary office are not so senior. Which took my own energy and time to protect my interests. (challenge the notary )

The worst experience ever to work with (especially with the man in the office). I've spent time with them without any results. Avoid it!

De vrouwen op kantoor waren geweldig om mee samen te werken. De belangrijkste man met wie ik samenwerkte was neerbuigend en noemde me lui omdat ik hem niet hielp met schoonmaken voor mijn open huis. Ik heb twee auto-immuunziekten, dus ik heb niet zoveel energie als een normaal persoon. Ze raadden een schoonmaakbedrijf aan dat mijn aanrechtblad permanent heeft verkleurd. Nieuwe aanrechtbladen kosten duizenden euro's. Ik ben nooit gecompenseerd voor de schade en heb nog steeds honderden euro's aan het schoonmaakbedrijf betaald. Area raadde ook aan om de voegen in mijn badkamer te vernieuwen en het bedrijf dat ze aanbevolen, deed het in donkergrijs, wat er zwart uitzag. De vakman die mijn douche voegde, zei dat het lichtgrijs zou opdrogen, maar het droogde zwarter op en mijn voegen waren wit. We moesten het bedrijf bellen en het was een enorm gedoe omdat ze wilden dat we betaalden om de voegen te herstellen die ze zwart hadden gemaakt. Dus ik kan niet zeggen dat de samenwerking met hen erg makkelijk was. Ik zou het schoonmaakbedrijf of geen van de diensten die ze aanbevolen hebben, aanraden. Want eerlijk gezegd was het meer gedoe dan zelf mensen te vinden. Uiteindelijk hebben ze ons huis verkocht en hebben we er een goede prijs voor gekregen. Ik zou niet zeggen dat het een probleemloos proces was, maar uiteindelijk is het goed gekomen.

A dedicated team! Both Stephanie and Mick are skilled real estate agents who know exactly what the do's and don'ts are when selling your house. They honestly state what is and isn’t useful.
