You have lived in a property for 8 years and you pass away. 15 months (!!!) after your death, Gevaarte comes with a threatening letter about an outstanding balance of less than 7 euros. Pay quickly, or it will cost you 500 euros. How does the handing over of a rented property work? They will first try to have you completely renovate the property ready for the next occupant, even if there were other agreements in the original documents.
