What a turn-off. Very bad experience with this agency. An application was submitted for a viewing regarding a rental property. I also explained my situation by phone in connection with family expansion and searching for a rental property. The employee said they would note everything and call me back. All the documents requested have already been neatly provided. A few days later, I was called back by someone named Christa. The conversation started on a tone that I am not happy with. I was told that I could view the property but at one viewing moment (I can imagine that). Unfortunately, the day of the viewing is not feasible for me due to vacation. This was responded to very casually. It was also indicated that my mother might be able to view the property for me and my partner. This was initially agreed upon, then 5 minutes later I was called back by Christa in a very derogatory tone saying that this had been discussed internally but that my mother could not come to view the property for us because they wanted to know who would be renting the property. Christa was very short and concise here and there was no alternative offered. As said, so done. Not at all accommodating. Just that properties might become available sometime. I understand that myself of course. Tips for Christa: - Show empathy and think along with the person on the other end of the phone. - Try to find a solution or think along in that as well. - As an addition to your response- Dear (?), The conversation was experienced like this but that is probably another discussion. No problem, we will continue our search. Christa also did not indicate that it would not be sensible to commit ourselves to a rental property for years, but she talks about you in the singular as a real estate agent because they want to know who they are dealing with. That was the problem here regarding not inviting my mother during the viewing. I could have easily introduced myself with a cup of coffee next Friday at your office for example so that you know who I am and can explain my reason for renting from you. Bad experience. I would never do business with them again. Due to private problems they were aware of. It was all no problem. The second signature for the sale of the house kept missing. They were aware of the situation but they talked so that there was already 1 signature on paper, which according to them didn't matter. Don't sign anything with them before you are sure that the co-owner will also sign. This realtor doesn't need to come by me anymore.
