We would have enjoyed it if there had been a moment of contact during the viewings in the home to discuss everything with the (assistant) real estate agent who would guide the viewings. This made it feel a bit impersonal. We are very satisfied with the result. The price is market conform, but remains quite expensive.

30 Oct 2025I don't like to and often write negative reviews, but this time I do. We switched from Univé to Alpina with our insurance, so we have an intermediary to help us if something happens. I'll keep it short, but this is not even the whole story: In 2 cases with traffic accidents it takes very long before there's a response. Resp. 10 months and 4,5 month (and still no conclusion). You hear nothing, you call multiple times, but they go into a waiting stance. Then you are told that if the insurer hears nothing, the file is closed, while there's still no conclusion about the liable party. On the email where I send my dissatisfaction, there is no response. You hope that something will be done with it, that Alpina calls you and helps as a customer. But unfortunately. The trust is gone. Fortunately, we now have an intermediary who does want to get to work for us.

In an unstable market where there are also quite a few 'quick operators' active, we were pleased to work with Sander Spaan of Thoma van Dijk Siebelink Makelaars. With attention to our wishes and ideas, the sale of our home was guided in a pleasant and expert manner by both Sander and Debby van Veen at the office. The personal commitment is also evident from the photo album that we received as a keepsake after transfer. It fit perfectly into our hand luggage for the flight to our new destination abroad!

The experience and personality of John van Dijk played an important, positive role in the sale. Very expert and to the point, continuous attention throughout the entire process and always friendly and attentive. This concerns John van Dijk and certainly also the people from his office. The entire team is well coordinated. John writes excellent text and the photographer delivers beautiful, clear photos. The ultimate buyer of our house was very demanding and cost John an unusual amount of time but he was always available and accommodating. He communicated openly and pleasantly, never losing sight of our interests as sellers. Of course, we have also involved him in the purchase of our new home and experienced him again as a very dedicated service provider who demonstrably enjoys his work and certainly does not act routinely. Van Dijk Makelaars is wholeheartedly recommended by us for both sale and purchase of your house.

Two things that stood out the most were: * The realistic price during the appraisal; * All employees and both brokers were very friendly. We could always turn to them with questions, and there was always time taken for a proper answer. The brokers have a good feel for negotiating. We found Van Dijk Real Estate Agency an office with a wide range of properties and much knowledge and feeling for the local housing market.
