30 Jul 2025We had an appraisal done here, as well as with Boumij for comparison. The difference between the two appraisals was over €85,000. Ultimately chose Boumij, and they actually sold the house for a much higher value. This clearly indicates that VDH Wonen is less familiar with the market. When we wanted to approach VDH Wonen to understand where the difference came from, they were not willing to discuss it. Very disappointing. Addition to the response of VDH: I actually worked with this party and provided substantive proof of this. After I stated that I would not deviate from my position, they made it unnecessarily personal. An extra reason to give 1 star.

They came well prepared, with two real estate agents to keep the valuation as objective as possible. The estimate seemed on the high side, but they kept their word. The mortgage process also went smoothly. Jaimy, the mortgage advisor, was pleasant to communicate with and gave clear advice. No moment of stress experienced. That is, in my opinion, quite unique when buying and selling a house.

Joost and his team Woonkoppel real estate agency weren't too proud to receive feedback; when I came up with ideas/comments, he called me and we chose something we both agreed on, even if that went back and forth 3 times. The sale was not standard, so Woonkoppel real estate agency helped me in their network with an energy label (quickly and with a discount), legal adjustments to the contract, and we could simply FaceTime because I unfortunately couldn't be present at the transfer.
