21 May 2025After all, we didn't sell our house without a real estate agent, so we engaged Entree makelaars Wijk bij Duurstede to offer our house for sale. Action was taken quickly because we were already working on another house. A good photographer was quickly hired, but it turned out not to be necessary after all. Before the house appeared on Funda, it sold very quickly, TOP Rens and Rosanne (werkplek2 :)). We also had a business property that we rented and this was also resolved quickly to the point by Entree. In one word about Entree: TOP.

17 Apr 2025Unskilled, unprofessional, and untransparent realtor. 1 star is still too much for this party. The day before yesterday, we had a very unpleasant experience with Eva Hoek, realtor at van Ekeren and Kuiper Culemborg. At 3:47 PM, we submitted an offer, and the bidding was to close at 4:00 PM. At 4:11 PM, I was called to say that we had the winning bid and that the house was ours. An hour later, I was called again with the message that someone else had still managed to submit another, higher bid precisely at 4:00 PM, with the offer coming in via email and through a different email address. Quite a very strange coincidence indeed. Incidentally, it is also odd that as a realtor you don't properly check your mailbox at 4:00 PM and before making people happy who have been searching for a home to buy for half a year. In short: be warned about this kind of practice because your highest bid is now worth nothing with the closing time of the bids.

Now curious how a lottery will go, because interest is high and there's allocation for the apartments. However, too little transparency here and too much striving to maximize profit..... sale by registration for highest bidder.....well, the sellers really should have been clear about that during advertising! Would have saved us a trip and disappointment .......but the intention here was obviously to attract as many people as possible. Add to that a vague parking space for the 2 large apartments and oh yes, another small spot of 1.5x1.5 m for an apartment of approximately 500,000 euros. Good luck......

17 Sep 2024Looking for a new home, I thought it would be a good idea to hire a real estate agent. I didn't know the city of Culemborg and I liked being able to have discussions. With Claudia, I felt fully supported throughout the entire process. I viewed many houses and also made offers, but the market is so idiotic that sometimes bids were even 25% over the asking price. Claudia kept her eyes open for finding a house that would suit me and my son. And while I was occasionally gripped by stress about whether I would ever find a house, she remained calm and confident. She could have advised me differently so that I would settle for less or join the bidding frenzy. Then her assignment would have been completed faster. But no, she didn't do that. I sometimes found that difficult when she again went to view a property and advise me. And then it wasn’t the right property again. Claudia worked hard for me. Also in the follow-up process. She checked everything, raised any issues she thought could be a problem. Even during her vacation! And what was also nice is that she is a building expert and that gave a lot of insight during viewings. I won't buy a house with her for now, but I would definitely do it again next time with Claudia. My son and I have really found our dream home. Ultimately outside Funda. A house that suits us, exactly as Claudia had in mind at the beginning of our journey. I will certainly recommend Claudia to friends if they ask me whether I know a good real estate agent.

26 Mar 2025As first-time buyers, my friend and I bought our first house, but our experience with this real estate agency was very disappointing. It started already during the viewing, where a double viewing had been scheduled, which felt unprofessional. Afterwards, we received an email stating that there would be a one-off bid, without negotiation. This was emphasized, but after completion, the two highest bids were still played off against each other, which took two weeks. Throughout the process, we didn't feel helped at all. The communication was slow and impersonal. We had difficulty arranging a second viewing, while the house needed to be completely renovated and we wanted to make preparations. Also, when we sent an email or called, we only received a response after a long time, often from someone other than the real estate agent themselves. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of clarity surrounding the sale. No list of items was drawn up, which caused confusion about what did and did not belong to the house. The real estate agent should have managed these expectations more clearly so that no misunderstandings would arise. In short, the communication was poor, the guidance minimal, and it seemed as if the real estate agent primarily served the seller's interests. We absolutely would not recommend this real estate agency.
