The apartment was rented out immediately. We also tried it ourselves via other platforms, but honestly, that was a waste of time. We will definitely use this company again.

Date unknownI rented out my apartment through huizenbalie. I was well helped and my questions were answered very quickly. I also received the requests for viewings directly via my email. Can really recommend huizenbalie if you want to rent out your home yourself. Update: A little over a year later, I placed another advertisement through huizenbalie. Now interested parties have to fill in a questionnaire with a motivation beforehand, which results in more serious reactions. Again, many responses in a short time. Huib is handling it well again just like last time.

01 Dec 2023Very bad service, this morning my friend had an appointment for a viewing in Den Helder. He had to come from Hellevoetsluis, so he drove almost 2 hours. Upon arrival at the agreed time, no one was present. Repeatedly tried to call, only an answering machine that addresses you, now I understand why there is no voicemail. Ultimately, no one showed up and it cost him a lot of time and expensive fuel. Very customer unfriendly!!!!

01 Dec 2022The absolute best way to rent out your house via Funda/Pararius. My house was posted within 1 day, +150 responses within 24h. Handling it myself, but this saves me 1000+ Euro , especially compared to (expat) real estate agencies, which ask for 1 month's rent for this (?!). Contact person very friendly on the phone. Conclusion: the future of property rental in a company

01 Dec 2022The Huizenbalie is a bad party for potential renters. You are connected to an automated message. They ask if you send an email. Then you hear nothing more. The telephone service also tries to fob you off with an email. Very poorly organized!

01 Dec 2022Warning! Extremely bad company! - Do you call the central number for interest in a property? You are referred to an email address and the connection is disconnected. Telephone consultation is impossible. - Do you call the number of one of their branches (in my case Groningen)? You get a message that the phone number is not in service. - Once responded via email to a property? You initially receive an automatic 'Postmaster' email as if the email address is undeliverable. Then you get a person whose first and last name are listed in the note of the email. - In a rental process, you can have many questions as a candidate. These will not be answered. Not even by email. The contact person only wants you to respond to his/her questions and not the other way around. - Finally: the viewing itself. You get a nice property to view. Good housing stock. Only the process: no hand is shaken, there is no interest in getting to know you, you are questioned about why you want to move (even though you have already mentioned this via email) and what you earn. You can give answers, but because listening is selective, what you actually say is not processed. - Ask for a video viewing. This prevents you from having to drive a long way only to hear during the viewing that there are 10 other candidates and you shouldn't get your hopes up... - The worst thing of all: the attitude. Mrs. Geraldien Miedema couldn't resist saying that they 'granted' the property to someone else. It might also be 'rented' to someone else, Mrs. Miedema. In short: 1 star for the property itself. No stars for the service.

03 Sep 2025Had a viewing today in Lelystad. We arrived at the viewing and the advisor who presents himself as an agent named Melle opened the door and said we could look around the property. He then continuously looked at his phone and couldn't answer any questions about the house. Very uninterested. At the end of our viewing, we asked some questions including whether they operate under a NVM contract. When the agent asks why we want to know this, we explain it is because of the condition of the house regarding hidden defects. We mention that this is also why we would like to make an offer (not much below the asking price). Melle gets irritated immediately and stands up. He insults his clients saying they are crazy and slams the door in our faces. Beware of this agency! They will keep you informed about where you stand. And Melle, for your information!! I would definitely recommend a customer service course for you. There is still so much to learn for you.

A few weeks ago we received a phone call saying they had lost our data and then they sent it via email. I responded asking why they needed it again. No response received. That's strange. We called them, and they claimed to have found our data. Then you just let someone know, don't you? Not so.... Poor service.

Date unknownYesterday I received a message from an acquaintance of mine that he had received a phone call from Bol real estate agents from Oosterhout. They had looked up my name on the internet and came to him. Whether he wanted to give my phone number because Bol real estate agents had a property in mind..? The acquaintance didn't trust it and, of course, did not pass on my phone number but contacted me about the strange and intrusive phone call he had received. Apparently, they have never heard of privacy laws at this brokerage. So I contacted Bol real estate agents myself. They were contacting me regarding a negative review from 6 years(!) ago.. They no longer had my number and were now trying to find out my phone number via the internet and my circle of acquaintances, under false pretenses (we have a property in mind). They wanted to talk and hoped to convince me to change my review with a bottle of wine... They are trying to 'resolve' a lot of hassle with legal assistance and a sloppy €1000 in extra costs, 6 years later by bothering my circle of acquaintances and sweet-talking me into a conversation and a bottle of wine... No, even after changing ownership, Bol real estate agents remains a very strange and unprofessional company. I hope that now, after 6 years, I am finally done with the practices of this 'special' realtor. If Bol real estate agents then dares to come up with a response to this review saying: 'It was certainly not our intention to reach someone from your circle of acquaintances on the phone.' then they are blatantly lying! Bol real estate agents consciously contacted this particular acquaintance of mine to ask for my phone number! Worthless reaction!

Date unknownVery bad experience WITH PREVIOUS OWNER ARJEN VAN GORSEL. The broker completely loses it if things don't go according to his plan. He has not been the owner/employee since 2021. In the meantime, I have been approached very nicely by the new owner and staff. They seem to be taking a totally different path and appear very nice. It’s good that it is resolved.

Date unknownSelling a cv boiler with an existing rental agreement while the purchasing party had already stated during the viewing that they did not want it. The Bol real estate agent even claimed upon signing the purchase contract that the purchasing party was absolutely not bound to this, but ultimately ends up with a redemption sum of hundreds of euros & an unwanted boiler... Also, the Bol real estate agent claimed that the roof of the storage room did not contain asbestos. Even when the selling party indicated that this was indeed the case, the Bol real estate agent insisted that it was not asbestos. When confronted again by the purchasing party two days before key handover, the real estate agent stated 'I'm not an asbestos expert'... The whirlpool bath was explicitly discussed in the house brochure. The selling party eventually stated that it was defective. The purchasing party addressed the real estate agent about this but he (again) did not respond... Our personal experiences are very bad with Bol Makelaardij & their realtor Arjan van Gorsel. In terms of the realtor's expertise as well as communication. Our advice: bring your own buyer's broker. It is extra costs, but then you know what to expect & what awaits you.

Regarding the bathtub, we find it unfortunate that the seller confronted you with this; we were not told that it didn't work and the real estate agent was therefore unaware. The asbestos is clearly stated in the purchase agreement and given the construction year of the property, you should have expected that as well. From your reaction, it appears that you do not consider yourself capable and that support in any form would have been welcome in your case, as you write. Of course, we wish you a lot of enjoyment in your home despite everything; it remains a pleasant and spacious residence.

They showed the house to two parties at the same time during viewings, and the agent who led us around was clearly not well-informed about the property. Questions about the seller, neighbors, and the property itself were not answered truthfully. In email correspondence, our salutation was incorrect. Photos of us were taken at the notary's office without our permission. It is clear that houses sell themselves in the current market.

Furthermore, we don't have an internal service department, so all phone calls are handled directly by one of our two real estate agents. We have also spoken to you on the phone several times. We hope you are certain that this concerns us? Because no market conditions excuse poor service, we believe.

Despite stopping the collaboration due to their flawed and ineffective approach, I still had to pay all costs. They delivered absolutely no results. A drama and blatant fraud. Absolutely not recommended! ⸻ You are brazen. Not only did you mislead me, but you also continue to argue. The realtor showed up late for the viewing of my house. In seven weeks, you were unable to arrange a second viewing – despite repeated requests.The photographer was supposed to promise a sunny fag, but that didn't happen. You have deceived us. The photographer came on a cloudy day, which resulted in unfavorable photos for us. You still have much to learn, as you have one year of experience. Show more respect for the customer. I am giving my opinion here, this is not a discussion forum.

During our involvement, multiple viewings were organized, which resulted in four offers from three different candidates. You reached a verbal agreement with one of them, for which we prepared a draft purchase agreement. You ultimately chose not to sign it yourself. Subsequently, you decided to terminate the sales assignment prematurely. In accordance with the agreed terms, you received an invoice for two items: the withdrawal costs and an energy label requested by yourself. All other work – including starting the sale, promotion, viewings, and negotiations – was carried out completely free of charge for you. The energy label that we had prepared on your behalf could also be used in the eventual sale of your home. We have heard that the property has since been sold and wish you all the best nonetheless. Date unknownAlso, our son had a bad experience with this real estate agent. Received a message via WhatsApp in the evening that the sellers had awarded him the apartment. Was congratulated by the realtor. With a date included for transfer. A purchase agreement would be made. The next day he received another real estate agent on the phone saying that there was another bid that was higher. This was after closing time for bids. They went to discuss with the sellers. He was supposed to receive a callback the same day. On Christmas Eve, he heard via WhatsApp that the offer from others had been accepted. So dirty. They are still working with their legal expenses insurance to find out if what is stated in the response is true. According to the law, verbal promises are legally binding. Now our son has received it in writing that he was the one whose bid was accepted. Let the judge decide.

Date unknownMost scandalous realtor ever. Being called in the morning to tell us we had the house for the bid we made. Bids were supposed to already be in. Being called in the evening that they actually received a higher bid and we could match it. Pure fraud. Watch out for the tricks of these scammers !!! (Following the owner's response) Today my wife called the realtor again to see if she could still make an offer, more than one and a half weeks after the bids were supposed to be in. She was still told nonchalantly that she could still place a bid. So watch out people, if you submit a bid through this realtor their “word” is worthless. They play you off each other and try to get higher bids from other parties until the last moment. They are also not affiliated with NVM. In short, be careful with these cowboys!
