Apart from the fact that he was 25 minutes late (he lives about 15 minutes away), the report stated: 'this valuation assumes that the property is not rented and immediately available. The errors in the report also show a very sloppy attitude: 'the bathroom has a bathroom' (the funniest mistake, the rest is enough to make you cry). Proof available upon request.

Both very social. We were guided by Matthieu (is a top) from the mortgage conversation up to making offers and the final purchase of the house. He gave us a lot of tips and tricks. The nice thing is everything was explained from A to Z in an easy way and arranged. So also the insurances where Yvette has helped us, she also helped us well. What we especially appreciate is the old, but rare mentality: the customer is really number 1, and nothing is too much. Many companies could take an example here!

We hired them to sell our apartment, and although they initially appeared very professional, our experience turned out differently. We invited several real estate agencies to view our home before deciding with whom we would go into business. Boumij made a strong first impression by sending two agents to the initial appointment. Based on this, we chose Boumij – despite them being the most expensive – expecting that their higher fee would lead to better service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this was not the case. A major issue was the lack of consistency in the agents who accompanied the viewings. Each viewing was conducted by a different person, which did not inspire confidence. Although Boumij did respond to contact requests, their communication was far from proactive. For example, they did not inform us for four days about an offer on our home! We only found out when we called them to make a new offer following the open day we had organized. Even more concerning was that one of Boumij's agents made an inappropriate and biased comment during a viewing, telling potential buyers that they probably couldn't afford our house – a remark that could have jeopardized the sale. Ironically enough, these buyers eventually purchased the property. Furthermore, Boumij offered no support during our open day. We organized this ourselves, which we had expected, but a visit from one of their agents or even a follow-up phone call would have been reassuring. We received no guidance, no tips, and there was no follow-up after the event. Overall, we felt completely abandoned throughout the entire process. Finally, a small but telling detail: it is customary for real estate agents to leave a small gift for the new homeowners. Given Boumij's high prices, we had expected this courtesy, but it never arrived. In short, the service we received was poor and did not justify the costs. Perhaps we had bad luck during a busy period, but that is no excuse for the miscommunication, lack of help, and overall negligence. We would not recommend Boumij and also will not use their services again.

30 Sep 2025Remco pretends to hope, makes big promises, but delivers little to nothing. The sale of my apartment went poorly and resulted in a loss of 27k. The purchase agency services he also does not deliver. Remco should have switched with the selling agent and given me as a buyer timely accurate bidding advice. Remco was not reachable at the moment it mattered. I therefore did not pay for his purchase services, he readily agreed to that, because he also realized that he did not deliver what he promised. The fact that the sale of my apartment went wrong, because he was unable to establish a binding sales agreement (financing), is something I will never forget. Legally attempted to hold him accountable for this. But then Remco throws it back on the fact that I received the sales agreement for review before it was passed on to the selling party. So it's my own fault? Where did I go wrong in my opinion? You take an 'expert' into your arms, who represents you, to prevent the above mentioned errors. Now Remco does it; because he offered the sales agreement for review in advance, and I agreed to that. Didn't I just hire an expert for that and paid for it? In short; if you want value for your money, and a real estate agent who actually represents his clients? Then I recommend you to look for someone else. There are enough alternatives in the vicinity of Tilburg! Think carefully, and choose another one, for yourself, your emotional state and naturally the end result. Remco will not admit his mistakes and hides behind his legal advisor. In the end he sends back the key to your home via post. Personal contact he avoids. This, in my opinion, already says enough. All in all, the advice is clear to me. Look for someone who does make an effort and does not act in his own interest! Never again Remco Olden Lommers Real Estate! More information and communication I will share freely with interested parties.
