From the beginning, we felt in good hands, and that feeling only grew stronger throughout the process. As expats buying from abroad, we knew the market would be challenging. We had heard how competitive and fast everything can be, and how difficult it is to succeed if you don't fully understand the bidding system. Martin took all that complexity off our shoulders. He represented us with confidence and precision, and his calm, well-timed advice helped us navigate everything clearly. You really notice how much experience he has – and how important that is in this kind of market. One of the most reassuring aspects of the process was Martin's strong technical knowledge. Before a formal viewing, he carefully inspected each property himself, pointing out structural problems or hidden details that we would have completely overlooked. That helped us make decisions with much more confidence and save time and money. In addition to the technical side, we especially appreciated how personal and supportive the collaboration felt. 09 Apr 2025Buying a house with the help of Martin and Quwendy felt super easy as expats. They kept us well informed about all steps of the process, what to expect, and they were always ready to help. When it came to viewing properties, Martin's endless knowledge made a huge difference. He had an answer to everything we asked, from structural problems, improvements, renovation, short/long term costs. But by the time we would ask those things, he naturally already noticed the issues and informed us thanks to his eye for detail. What pleased us most was the way he handled bidding and negotiating. He gave purely objective opinions only. He never pushed a purchase or suggested it just to make quick profit. The extra hours he put in were spent on research and negotiations in the evening hours. And that led us to buy our dream house, a house we love. Overall, we highly recommend working with Martin and Quwendy when buying your first house/apartment. We received tailored advice, detailed explanation about how the whole process works, a personal touch, there is consideration for both seller and buyer, and when we got stuck with the purchase of our new home, Martin also supported us by finding the right people for us to continue. But Anderz Real Estate Agent Martin and Quwendy guided us in every respect in an incredibly professional manner. Martin is a very friendly and caring person. He made accurate decisions about this crazy market and was right every time. Without him, we would not have been able to do it. 11 Aug 2024Following an inspection, we were forced to pray (buyer unfriendly), during the inspection it was indicated that the price not only counts but also other points, ultimately we were told that the bid would not be accepted, those other points therefore do not apply and we were wrongly informed. Also, the selling price was not mentioned, hence why we did make the highest offer. Not recommended to do business with.

If all goes well, you should have received a bidding log. In it, you can see that your bid is far below the highest bid. The process was very transparent, so I don't quite understand the reaction.

We could always turn to them with our questions and didn't have to wait long for an answer. Klaas is a broker with courage, which we like. Tom clearly took us through the mortgage part and arranged this quickly for us. We would also like to specifically mention and thank Larissa. It’s a shame to say goodbye already, visiting was always fun too. But we know who we want to enlist again in the future!

For example, I ask 3 questions via Move or app, and it takes a long time to get an answer, and then only for 1 out of the 3 questions. Tip: Assign one employee responsible for ensuring customer questions are answered. They were all nice, friendly people though. If they do that better, I will definitely recommend them.

Date unknownI too was not taken seriously here as a new person in the housing market. This was already happening before the housing market became overheated, the house sales were just starting then (already 4 years ago at the time of writing this review). Initially, I still thought that this was normal because I was new to the housing market as a starter. When looking around on Google Maps, I saw the recent bad reviews and now see that apparently little has changed over time. That is why I am now happy to share my experience. During the first viewing, I was alone as a starter, and not taken seriously at all. Almost no information was provided about the property. Questions asked could not be answered or were incorrectly answered afterwards. The brochure of the property was not available. There was clearly no preparation, or they did not intend to make an effort for it. Ultimately, I was shown around by an intern while Mr. Tebbens Torringa himself stayed downstairs almost the entire viewing at a table. During the second viewing (with parents and partner), there was unfortunately little improvement, and they too felt that the attitude was not entirely professional or interested, and that we were still not taken seriously. We also did not receive a brochure of the property with us here. Ultimately, during the negotiations for the purchase of the property, several different written things were misinterpreted and incorrectly communicated to the selling party on multiple occasions. This ultimately caused some delay in the negotiation period. It wasn't the delay, but the irritation it provoked that was annoying. Fortunately, the further handling went reasonably well and we no longer had to deal with Tebbens Torringa Makelaardij. Should we ever sell our lovely home, we now know where not to go, and that is with the aforementioned company. p.s. one of the two 5-star reviews that the company has is from one of its own employees.
