26 Jun 2024A broker who goes over bodies. Our house with 142 m2 of living space, 1005 m2 plot. Sold for under €240,000 in 2021. I deeply regret that we went into business with this realtor. My father was ill and family had to take over the sale. This realtor didn't put our house on Funda but knew someone who directly had interest and sold it to us as a good idea. The blame lies partly with my family and partly with my father who handed it over. But the realtor should have treated us fairly. However, she did not tell us that the person who wanted to buy it was a contractor and that he would improve the house with some minor adjustments and resell it for a huge amount within six months. For the realtor, that's naturally double profit. It is painful that my father was scammed in this way during the time he received chemotherapy. Here I share my experience, think carefully before entering into business with this realtor.
