21 Sep 2025We are disappointed with how the sales process of our home went through Oosting Makelaars Assen. The expectations were high as we consciously chose this office because it is known as one of the best real estate agencies in the region. Unfortunately, that reputation was not upheld for us. The guidance fell far short of what had been promised beforehand. Instead of being taken care of, we had to do a lot ourselves, such as writing the Funda text and other important aspects of the sales process. Ultimately, we largely had to handle the sale ourselves, which is not what you expect from a professional real estate agency. Afterward, I had a conversation with the agent Wouter over a cup of coffee. To my surprise, he stated that everything had gone perfectly fine. That lack of self-reflection and failure to acknowledge how the process was for us, found me disappointing and unfortunately also typical of our cooperation. We had hoped for professional support and personal involvement, but felt left to our own devices most of all. In our opinion, not recommended.

She walked every step of this journey with us — through the highlights, setbacks, uncertainty and even the challenges we had with the IND for my husband. She kept going one step further and gave everything to help us. Her empathy, kindness and tireless dedication made an overwhelming process much more manageable, and we are incredibly grateful to her. When it was time to make an offer, Alex joined in and did excellent work. As our purchase agent he negotiated fantastically — right up to the very last moment — and managed to close a great deal, enabling us finally to acquire our dream home. Together Leonie and Alex form a great team, but Leonie deserves special recognition because she was by our side from day one, with professionalism, warmth and genuine involvement. 15 Aug 2025As a potential buyer, it is very difficult to get a viewing. I was not called back about this initially, as promised. Had to call again myself and then they said they were fully booked. Ultimately, through contact with the homeowners (who were very surprised by the way Snoek makelaars operates), we were still able to get an appointment that had to be rescheduled on the day of the viewing due to “an important appointment”. I was already done with this realtor and now even more so. We are letting this property pass us by with great reluctance. I would not entrust the sale of my home to this firm if I lived near Oosterwolde.

The exact possibilities for viewing were not yet known and we would be called back on Tuesday after the long Pentecost weekend. Meanwhile, it is now a week later on Friday and we have not been called back. We had to call ourselves. A decision has been made for 2 viewing days. The first one is full and the second we cannot attend due to work. And that's what you have to deal with. A slightly customer-oriented real estate agent would, in consultation with the seller, create an extra moment for us because they have been lax themselves. The housing market is so good that they really don't care at all. Look, there will be a bad period in the housing market again sometime and then these kinds of things will not be forgotten. Absolutely not recommended. You don't want a real estate agent like that.
