What a terrible experience (at least for now), all the 'good' homes are booked 'directly'. That only happens with them, it doesn't matter if you try to call, if you literally just saw the property, it's fully booked within 'minutes'. Which is of course a blatant lie. I understand that the market in the Netherlands is complex, but as I said before, this only happens with this company. I have already booked several other homes with other companies, but with DAMEN it is literally impossible. At least, for the good properties. Moreover, they don't answer the phone and don't respond to emails. A few months ago, before I even considered buying a house, I was considering renting. I contacted DAMEN and they sent me an email with the required information and documents. I replied, but to this day I still haven't received a response. Last week I tried to book a viewing for a property that was already fully booked when I refreshed the app. That was on Friday. On Monday morning I received an email stating that the property was fully booked. Which is literally impossible. I am considering filing a complaint with the authorities.

It felt good from the beginning. You have an apartment, want to rent it out, and there is intensive searching for a suitable tenant. And...if there's a leak on a Saturday evening or something breaks on a Sunday afternoon, you get a call about it and it’s resolved correctly and in a cost-effective way. That service, that directness in solving problems, I find fantastic. I wouldn't want it any other way; meanwhile, we've been doing this for several years now, and I am only happier. Every problem is solved to everyone’s satisfaction, the tenant is satisfied and pays on the 1st of the month without fail, and Drenth solves all problems with the right professionals engaged at a fair price. In short, if you want to rent out a house or apartment, you are at the best address with them.

Nothing indicated that we were new in the Netherlands and that we had a temporary place that we had to leave before May. We had already found something in Nieuw Vennep, but the private landlord was a scammer. So, 15 days before the end of the contract, we had nothing; we almost considered returning to our old country. BUT several genuine professionals and people (thank you Michel) at DVB helped us find something and took our difficult situation into account. Now we have a beautiful new home for my fiancée and myself! Thanks to them! I highly recommend it.

We have been living in Italy for years, but when we needed temporary accommodation in the Netherlands due to an operation, we landed on Edelman Verhuur's website during our search. Noordwijk is familiar to us. The warm welcome, the professionalism and the feeling of mutual openness and trust resulted in a wonderful house, great support and exceptionally nice personal contact for us! We look back on that with much pleasure. We are now back in Italy, but the connection remains. When good friends of ours needed a place 'between two houses' for six months, I referred them to Marjan. Incredibly well assisted! Michel is always reachable, if he happens to be too busy to answer the phone, you immediately receive a message that he will call you back later. Very professional, explains everything in detail from signing the contract beforehand to receiving the apartment keys. The apartment was delivered neatly. Even extra service regarding the energy supplier is possible so you don't have to figure all of that out yourself. I haven't been helped so quickly well and professionally by any other good company!
