Date unknownThe goal was achieved, selling the house. The first advisory meeting went well, but then it started... I could write a whole book here with text and explanation, but nobody would read that anyway. But here are a few points that I actually find unacceptable. - The photographer canceled 5 minutes before the appointment without any consequences... I shouldn't have tried.. - On Friday, no work is actually done (my real estate agent certainly wasn't) - During the viewings, incorrect information is given to the viewers. And even in a tone where I would think 'who are you working for?!' The house was half-trashed... - A video with presentation/walkthrough was included in the package, but it ultimately became just a simple video without a presentation... - Proactivity and communication could have been better, this did improve towards the end - Several CR real estate agents came by who actually didn't know anything about the house and therefore couldn't provide any incorrect or no information to the viewers - Often no immediate update regarding the viewings (only the next day when I asked for it) this was later improved - The motivation letter that was sent with a bid wasn't even forwarded to me. I only heard and read about it later from the buyers. - And then the house is finally sold... and you get a bottle of cheap prosecco as a gift instead of real champagne like with other real estate agents.... and they also don't go along to the notary to handle everything properly, or to ensure that it is handled correctly. All in all..the goal is achieved, the house is sold and for a selling price where I am still somewhat satisfied, but how this went was really dramatic.

They are open and honest, their viewing and bidding process is flexible, and it doesn't feel as rushed as with other real estate agents who schedule an hour-long tour. This allows for sufficient time to ask questions before making a major life and financial decision. They advised that Toff in Dutch means 'cool,' which is a very suitable name. P.S. The quality of the houses they offer is, for some reason, significantly better compared to what is available on Funda.

22 Jul 2024Had a tour of a house in the reeds, the real estate agent indicated that the house had insulation in the intermediate floor but pointed to a floor slab. Also on other questions there was no proper answer. Finally, to my great surprise, she stated as we were leaving that there was already a bid for the asking price so if we wanted the house we would have to offer higher than that. I wouldn't like to be the one who placed the bid. Then you get a nice earful. I wouldn't like to do business with this party again, but you don’t choose who someone else sells their house through.

The long version: You get to know the team of Mechel Makelaardij in a warm and personal way with genuine attention for your situation. They therefore think along well and come up with very targeted effective and professional advice. Josine really made a difference for me with this. She is also a very warm and pleasant person. The sale went very smoothly and exceeded expectations. All paperwork was taken out of your hands and handled neatly. The guidance was top-notch so that it was completely clear what I could expect and when. If you are looking for a house in Breda, or want to sell one, specifically in Princenhage, then this is -without a doubt- the real estate agent to choose!

It was all very exciting. I knew nothing about it. Vermunt real estate agency guided me through this neatly. In just 2.5 weeks, the house was sold for a good price.
