Als je een pand gaat verhuren, dan vind ik dat je vóór de bezichtigingen en het liefst met de verhuurder, het pand zelf moet bekijken. Op mijn initiatief gebeurde dit uiteindelijk een half uur voordat de bezichtigingen begonnen.

We zijn heel blij met Gianni (en Pauline die hem verving wanneer nodig). Aangezien we van ver moesten komen waren we vrij kritisch op wat een bezichtiging waard was, en hebben we zelf een hoop huizen aangedragen. Maar de meerwaarde zit natuurlijk vooral in kennis van de markt en het doen van een passend bod. Zeker een aanrader.

If it serves their own interest, they will keep pressuring you until you have had enough. That's why I let them view the property before handing over the keys. But when I ask something, they don't respond or only reply a week later. They didn't inform me of the conversations they had with the landlord, and at some point the real estate agent stopped answering my phone calls. Avoid them if possible.

The rental agreement will be full of errors, the rent was sent to an incorrect account number, photos of the house were supposed to be sent but never received, but the most important thing was the temporary termination of the agreement.
