17 Dec 2024Joan and Rudy guided us through the buying and selling process. After inviting three local real estate agents, it was actually quite clear to us that we would choose Smit and Douma. During the first meeting, they immediately took a good look at our house and measured it directly so Joan could determine a good price based on comparable properties. Joan was also able to provide a lot of certainty about the price we could expect, so we could adjust our budget accordingly. When it came to properties for purchase, thorough research was done and comparable properties and their bidding behavior were analyzed. We also experienced both processes as very positive. Joan and Rudy were also available on weekends if quick decisions had to be made for both the sale and purchase. They create contracts digitally so that we, as buyers and sellers, can sign quickly, which speeds up the cooling-off period. For us as sellers, this provides quick certainty. All in all, very satisfied. We hope to live in our new house for a long time, but if we ever move again, we will definitely involve Joan and Rudy again.

19 Mar 2025Ilse guided and helped my in-laws and us (son and daughter-in-law) throughout the entire process and everything that comes with it regarding the search and purchase of a suitable ground floor apartment for my in-laws. And additionally, the sale of the house where they lived for over 40 years. Hats off to the way she did that! My in-laws are getting older and could no longer do it themselves due to health problems. She kept us well informed throughout the entire process and was always on time for appointments. She thought along with the process and informed us well. She was accessible for all questions throughout the entire process and she was flexible. She did all of this in a very pleasant way with much respect and patience. Moreover, she felt very well what my in-laws and we needed. My in-laws are very happy with the apartment they bought with Ilse's help.
