This agent knows what he’s talking about and makes a realistic assessment of selling price and timeframe. Throughout the process, there has been pleasant, open communication. The sale felt like a good collaboration between seller and agent because of this. When there was some uncertainty surrounding the sale, Jonathan proved to be knowledgeable and professional and kept things calm throughout the process. I didn’t worry for a moment about the (ultimately positive) outcome thanks to him. I can definitely recommend this real estate agent!

He was already very friendly during the viewing and could tell a lot about the apartment and the neighborhood, and he could answer my questions (which unfortunately wasn't the case with other sales brokers). His transparency and honesty were very pleasant during the viewing. When I heard that my offer had been accepted and the arrangement of the follow-up steps began, Dennis was very helpful and his communication was clear and very fast. He also made time on a Saturday to calmly review the purchase agreement. He has the best interests at heart for both the seller and the buyer. I experienced the entire process as very pleasant with Dennis' help and would certainly have wanted him as my purchasing broker if my search for a home had lasted longer.

14 Apr 2025Today, March 17th, was the handover of our house to the new residents. What a lot Stephanie from Xtra Real Estate arranged for us between November and today! She put in remarkably much time during the preliminary consultation, was present for all hours during the photo reportage. Every viewing that came onto the agenda was communicated from the backoffice (top!). And there were no less than 17 of them; Stephanie called us daily at our vacation address to discuss the progress. Very nice too: an appointment is an appointment, you didn't have to doubt whether an appointment would be kept. And even after the agreement was signed, we could arrange for further support. Changing the planned handover date: I’ll take care of it, you don’t need to do anything. And that’s how the whole process went. And all of this for a fixed price, so no percentage on the selling price. That's enough of this advertisement, but it is 100% deserved. Deep bow for Stephanie and ‘the rest’ of Xtra Real Estate!

And a good offer within a few days. After acceptance of the offer, a quick signing of the preliminary purchase agreement. All praise for Jan Vreugdenhil for the quick sale and further handling. This real estate agency is an absolute recommendation for everyone.

Very pleasant contact, knowledgeable people, nice photos and happy with the end result. When Bernadette and Patrick were away, I think it was too busy, which meant we sometimes had to wait longer than we wanted for a response. But overall very satisfied.

06 Aug 2025Big disappointment in the professional care of Thuis Makelaardij. When purchasing our home from Thuis Makelaardij in 2022, we were confronted with several serious inaccuracies in the provided sales information. In the questionnaire completed by the sellers, no mention was made of a subsided wooden floor, while the sellers were apparently already aware of this according to their own WhatsApp confirmation. The real estate agent never verified or questioned this crucial information. An energy label C was also provided, which subsequently does not correspond with the actual condition of the property: the roof, the floor and the skylight turned out not to be insulated. The energy label should be F - that is a significant difference. Based on this information, among other things, we paid a higher purchase price and accepted higher mortgage payments. When we later held the real estate agent liable and asked for contact with the sellers, we received the answer that they were “not a party” and that the email would not be forwarded. Only after our repeated pressure was the email finally sent to the sellers. We find this attitude unprofessional, especially considering the NVM standards that Thuis Makelaardij claims to adhere to. The fact that only more recent, mostly positive reviews are visible and older experiences seem to be missing also raises questions about transparency. We have since engaged a lawyer and the case is legally established. This experience has completely eroded our trust in this office.
