Date unknownI would not recommend this agency. My family and I had a horrible experience buying a house from abroad. My agent had no idea about houses and did not pick up on a series of deficiencies on the house. The surveyor I hired upon their recommendation (DDKeuring) provided a technical inspection that was superficial bordering negligent. Rather than advising us on the pros and cons, we were pushed to overbid by a 10th of the asking price to get the house. No surprise we got it.. Also during the buying process that is already quite a stressful time, our agent was permanently on holidays leaving no one in charge who was bothered enough to respond to our queries. Buying from in our outside the Netherlands, I am sure there are plenty more responsive agencies with better prepared agents.

He actively listened to my wishes and made sure he screened all apartments before viewing them, which saved us time and energy. He regularly came up with possibilities before I had seen them online. During viewings, he ensured that he focused on all the small but important technical details so that I could focus on my overall opinion of the apartments. He didn't rush and even postponed the process several times due to details I had overlooked. Ultimately, we found the perfect apartment for me in less than two months. And thanks to his market knowledge and negotiation skills, I got a great apartment at a great price without having to pay transfer tax. Finally, Barry checked all the documents to make sure everything was in order, which was enormously important to me since I don't yet speak Dutch. All in all, I am very happy with Barry and I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

28 Apr 2025If you come from abroad, it can sometimes be difficult to navigate the culture of the housing market, especially during a housing crisis. Thanks to Daan, I was able to buy my first apartment in Amsterdam within 3 months! He advised me on all aspects, such as finding a mortgage advisor, placing offers and viewing the property. He handled the communication and was present until the key handover. My advice for newcomers: you need a lot of help to navigate the market. You can actively search on Funda yourself, but otherwise you need an expert.

08 Jun 2025They sell apartments without knowing the division of ownership deeds, let alone pointing this out to potential buyers. Years of conflict within the HOA is not mentioned to the buyers. Moreover, they lie about the proportions within the HOA and make it look better than it is. I warned Manuela about this but she didn't care. It is prohibited and unethical. However, she doesn't care about that.

Date unknownWe rented an apartment through Prestige Housing. Manuela (real estate manager/not a real estate owner) presents herself as very professional and cooperative, but that is absolutely an illusion. When we moved in, we discovered that several things were broken and needed to be repaired. For some things, it took more than six months to get them fixed, while quite a bit of money had to be paid monthly. She didn't allow me to contact the owner of the property myself to resolve some issues. Fortunately, he is very collegial and reasonable. Something that Manuela clearly isn’t. I would not recommend working with her as a tenant or real estate owner. Her way of communicating is very unpleasant and unreasonable. 2nd review (after rental period) after we left the apartment, it got even worse. Manuela texted me that I should remove this 1-star review. Her argument; my review is incorrect. She even threatened me with legal action if I didn’t remove this review. In my opinion, this portrays Manuela in all respects. In our case, she did not take responsibility for her negligence during our rental period. It was a complete nightmare for me and my family to have her as a property manager.

I had my apartment for rent through a real estate agent for a month and it wasn't rented out. Prestige Housing took different photos, a different description. Within a few days I had three viewings and within a week it was rented out. Clear price agreements. Highly recommended.
