So then, after consultation (regarding business matters), Menne Kamp was brought in. This man takes all negotiations off your hands. This resulted in a lower purchase price than we had in mind. He has been more than worth his money. Amazing.

Date unknownATTENTION people! I have never encountered such a bad real estate agent to date. Besides being very difficult to reach, callbacks don't happen at all. Fraud and deception may even apply here. Considerable messing around with point scoring and other documents. Naturally, no one wants to hear complaints here. An official complaint has now been lodged with the NVM regarding their actions; I turned out not to be the only one. However, you remain a victimized tenant or buyer. So for anyone reading this, be warned. A warned person counts for two.

It was delivered according to a high professional standard: each section was carefully written and the information was clearly, logically and detailed presented. The inspector even checked the locks on the interior doors, checked the moisture in the walls and brought things to our attention that we might not even think of.

25 Sep 2025Recently we viewed a house that this real estate agent had for sale in Winschoten. In the photos it could be seen that there had been leakage from the upper floor. However, nothing was mentioned about this in the text except that the bathroom needed renovation or a different use. Upon viewing, it turned out that the bathroom had leakage and could no longer be used. We were greeted by a friendly young man who showed us around. However, for almost every question we asked, such as; why do these people want to move? We got the answer: I don't know. And that answer was given for almost every question. You couldn't get any information. During our viewing, Mr Hittjo was sitting at the dining table on a chair on his mobile phone. He barely looked up from it. He did not introduce himself or anything and continued with his mobile phone. Outside, it was noticed that the exterior stones of the bay windows were different and it looked as if the bay windows had been added later. So we asked the young man that question and got the answer: I don't know. We then asked Mr Hittjo the same question, but he answered: they found it beautiful for sure. And Mr Hittjo shrugged his shoulders. We could live with that answer. Also, considering the poor condition of the house, we found the asking price really too high. All in all, a pity.

Well. Fortunately, most people are actually always positive about our viewings (also because we always take enough time for them) but they usually don't leave a review.... As for the bathroom: there was indeed in the text that this must be renovated (and not modernized), from which you could deduce that it is no longer usable. Unfortunately, this was a disappointment for you. Hittjo was busy typing an inspection report on his mobile phone. And for some questions we really don't know the answer, e.g., whether a bay window was added later. For a house with construction year 1932, the owner himself can only make statements about the time he has lived there himself. Perhaps next time better.

04 Mar 2025We tried to make an appointment to view a property, to which we were told that this is only possible on the viewing day. We indicated that we would then be unable due to our own business. The answer was unfortunately that it will not proceed. This happens in such an arrogant manner in which I personally have received a bad aftertaste. As far as I am concerned, the rule still applies: who pays decides, and it is not that the real estate agent decides and I pay, so that I must adapt to his rules. With the additional excuse that it is done in consultation with the current resident: ridiculous, the house is empty. Apparently, this real estate agent is doing very well, and he doesn't feel the need to invest time and energy in his future clients.
