However, we could only get an appointment with our current mortgage provider 10 days later, in this time you have to act quickly, and Ronald came to our rescue. He made room in his schedule the next day so that we could go to the viewing of our dream house well informed the day after and also be able to acquire it. It's unfortunate that you experienced the contact this way and that we have to read it through this review. In our opinion, we did everything possible to keep the contact as personal as possible, but the fact that you live in Spain, were not reachable by phone, and also responded very late to emails certainly didn't make it easy. We therefore cannot agree with this review. Fortunately, our other reviews show that other customers do not experience it this way...

28 Feb 2025In all the purchases of our houses, both ours and those of our daughter, Ronald guided us through a journey that wasn't too easy. Demolition/ new construction/ subsidy. A lot of explanation had to be given to mortgage lenders. But he succeeded. You can always contact him with questions. Everything is explained in a homely atmosphere, while enjoying a cup of coffee which is immediately offered by Ronald's lovely colleagues. 👏

What started as wishful thinking became increasingly serious, partly thanks to Ronald's good help with our financing. After half a year of searching, we found a lovely little house and we will be moving in December. Ronald and Steffan have always helped us well and despite the fact that the lender sometimes worked against it, they were still able to arrange it for us. Date unknownATTENTION people! I have never encountered such a bad real estate agent to date. Besides being very difficult to reach, callbacks don't happen at all. Fraud and deception may even apply here. Considerable messing around with point scoring and other documents. Naturally, no one wants to hear complaints here. An official complaint has now been lodged with the NVM regarding their actions; I turned out not to be the only one. However, you remain a victimized tenant or buyer. So for anyone reading this, be warned. A warned person counts for two.

19 Feb 2025We tried to make an appointment to view a property, to which we were told that this is only possible on the viewing day. We indicated that we would then be unable due to our own business. The answer was unfortunately that it will not proceed. This happens in such an arrogant manner in which I personally have received a bad aftertaste. As far as I am concerned, the rule still applies: who pays decides, and it is not that the real estate agent decides and I pay, so that I must adapt to his rules. With the additional excuse that it is done in consultation with the current resident: ridiculous, the house is empty. Apparently, this real estate agent is doing very well, and he doesn't feel the need to invest time and energy in his future clients.

16 Sep 2024When we bought our current home some years ago, we engaged a structural engineer for a technical inspection. What a great guy he was. I've always maintained that you have to come from a good house to surpass such an expert man. Someone you don’t just find easily. But yes indeed.....he has been found, and it is Hittjo de Wal of Woonstee Makelaars! On the website he is described as a down-to-earth Groninger with a realistic view of things, and I can only agree. Last Friday, August 30, 2024, I had an appointment with him for a technical inspection in connection with the purchase of a property. It can be stated without further ado that Hittjo is structurally very knowledgeable and misses nothing. At least....that’s my conclusion, and after completing the very thorough inspection, I was convinced that almost every square centimeter of the house has been examined. Hittjo is a super enthusiastic man who takes his work very seriously and clearly sees his work as a hobby too. And all this with a good dose of humor. From me he gets a big feather and wishes everyone who needs a technical 'expert'. Once again, thank you very much for your expertise Hittjo! I know how to find you if that should be necessary again. 16 Jul 2024Hello, We have made an offer on a house in Midwolda and the offer was accepted by the sellers and we started everything in motion and Mr. Hittjo de Wal simply calls after a week and says that the house will not go through and has been sold to the other buyers because they have cash money. We think this is very sad from the company Woonstee, that we are being put at costs. And if you read the reviews well, then they do that and I am not the only one. Friendly angry realtor. Be careful. Well, it's quite something to get a bad review because you adhere to the law and also to your duty to protect the interests of your client (the seller). We naturally understand that Rob and Annet are very disappointed, but things are somewhat different than they say. After a verbal agreement was reached, we clearly pointed out to them via email that as long as there is no signed purchase agreement, both parties are free to withdraw from the sale. A verbal agreement is simply not valid. And if a better buyer appears in the meantime, it is our DUTY to inform the seller of this, and the seller is FREE to enter into an agreement with this other buyer. Furthermore, the house was NOT just sold to someone else (and there’s absolutely no question of cash), because we still offered them the opportunity to adjust their bid. The fact that Rob and Annet have incurred costs is their own choice. We did not advise them to start the mortgage application or put their house on the market prematurely. And an appointment for a building inspection had not yet been made. Perhaps it would have been better if they had been assisted by a buyer's agent, who could then have explained the rules to them as well.
