After living here together for 100 years (slightly exaggerated😉) on the Island, you pretty much know all the real estate agents. Alwin distinguishes himself because he has a pleasant and approachable personality and doesn't charge exorbitant brokerage fees. Just nice doing business with this man! Last but not least,… When I asked Alwin if he would like to do something for KiKa (for which I am an ambassador) when I gave him the assignment, he didn’t hesitate for a second. Up, no words but actions with Alwin! Shortly after, the donation became a reality! Team from Alphen, thank you!

19 Mar 2024After speaking to several people about Van Alphen. We decided to call Alwin (we did this on Friday). He was able to come by already on Saturday (this was good for us due to our work). Following a good conversation with Alwin, everything was set in motion and Martiene took over everything. I can’t say anything other than that this is running very well. Both questions to the owner and to maritime are answered quickly and professionally, responses are quick by phone and action is taken quickly if needed, Van Alphen sold our house within a few weeks with clear and good agreements. This is also very nice, we therefore recommend Van Alphen for the sale of your property both in terms of personal contact and on a business level, they are discreet and don’t stand still but get things done, something we appreciate greatly. Thank you Alwin and Martiene for the top handling of the sale of our house on Nieuwstraat in Oude Tonge

13 Jul 2024Had to make an appointment 3 times for a viewing, then viewed the house and made an offer, we were told that the owner would consider it and get back to us. Our bid remained in our move account. After a week, the bid was increased and we called again. We were told that another bid had been placed and accepted. It's not nice not to inform us about this and we feel like we were being strung along, so no, not a pleasant experience when you constantly have to call the ladies.

22 May 2024The realtor put my elderly parents under pressure with the message that they would end up at the bottom of the list again if they didn't accept the rental apartment. Promised in black and white that defects would be resolved within 4 weeks and completely withdrew his hand when the ink was still wet, referring to the rental company Eresm for which he acts as an intermediary. Don't fall for it! Zero support and defects are still far from being resolved after almost 1.5 years.

Both Ton and Dineke have an eye for the customer. They know which emotions are involved in selling your home and can anticipate them. From the first conversation with Ton, there was the click needed to have confidence in each other. Ton comes across as calm and very professional. Questions we had as sellers were adequately addressed and answered. That gave us a lot of peace. No fuss, but do what is promised with an eye for the customer. For us an absolute recommendation if you are looking for an honest and correct real estate agent with an eye for detail.

25 Mar 2025Clearly communicated with son Niels about an assignment to appraise a property, before/after renovation. Price and agreements communicated as agreed via email. Father den Ouden calls like a blunt farmer saying the appraisal will not proceed due to nonsensical reasons that I, as the buyer, cannot influence. Well, the question is whether you want to do business with such types anymore. My advice is NO.

Petra, as indicated, I (Ab) have previously reviewed the property in preparation and must conclude, based on the data available online including the price history, that the value you desire is not realistic from my perspective. Apart from this, as a broker/appraiser, I am obliged to objectively assess the property and act carefully and ethically, and not according to the desired price that a client would so gladly want. Therefore, I have decided not to proceed with carrying out the assignment of appraising this property. I am also pleased that we belong to this 'type' of broker.

25 Aug 2024The viewing was neat, the son is a nice boy who is honest. But father is very rude and lies about everything when he is confronted if he leaves things or doesn't communicate normal things. For example, as a bidder I am not informed of anything and have to find out from funda that the house has been sold. I will call and he says forget it, sorry? No, and then he lies again. There were no hurdles with others like financial and inspection etc. Literally said by the real estate agent and what do I see on fair bidding afterwards that only the price of bidding differed and then I understand that for the seller. But just say that and don't start lying!! That wasn't necessary. And I was not allowed to bid lower than the asking price, which he said angrily! I had asked the son beforehand if that was possible and it was!!!! Father didn’t appreciate comments and then reacts terribly and can normally see and probably doesn’t communicate with his son. He would have received 1 star from me but because the son was nice he gets two. But don't do business with him!!!!!!
