02 Mar 2025My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our realtor for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette with a difficult situation: we needed a house as quickly as possible because our lease was expiring in two months and we would have nowhere to go afterwards. Lisette was honest with us that it would be quite a job, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but ultimately she more than delivered. Throughout the entire home buying process, she skillfully guided us through viewings, assessing properties, and eventually making an offer and closing. As first-time homebuyers and also expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always happy and willing to answer. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt that she always had our best interests at heart and that she was never pressured to make offers that didn't make sense for us. Ultimately, our initial offer was accepted after a bit of back and forth with the seller and we closed on the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our first conversation with Lisette DESPITE a hiccup with our mortgage lender, through which she also navigated as a true professional. For what it's worth: our house was also valued higher than what we paid, so the fact that we had instant equity gave us the feeling that we scored big. We are still in disbelief that she could realize this home purchase so quickly and are so grateful for her expertise which guided us along the way. Highly recommend!

20 May 2025Very disappointing experience with the sales procedure of Kalenberg Noord 30 in Ossenzijl. As one of the last two serious bidders, I unfortunately had to conclude that there is no equal treatment, transparency or professional handling at this office. My increased bid of €452,000 without a financing condition, submitted via email (as permitted in their own sales instructions), was only acknowledged after I had to repeatedly inquire. To date, no evidence has been provided that this bid was actually passed on to both sellers. Nor was a bid log provided, while the house has since been withdrawn from sale. In addition, I received incorrect information about the motives of the sellers (“the brother didn’t want to sell”), whereas later it turned out that the daughter – who was notably the client of the office and co-owner – had taken over her brother's share. This double role was never reported, which points to a serious conflict of interest. During the sales process, essential documents were missing, such as a complete floor plan and a completed questionnaire. This meant that there was no equal provision of information compared to other bidders, such as the daughter, brother and neighbors who also expressed interest. My request to make direct contact with the sellers (now that the office is no longer playing an active role) has been repeatedly refused, thereby blocking my remaining chance of purchase. This experience demonstrates a lack of due diligence, transparency and professional decency. A real estate agent should mediate objectively, not entangle interests and withhold information.

It's a shame you think you need to express your dissatisfaction in this way. But for the sake of clarity; 'your story' does not align with reality. Through our office, no sale was concluded because the seller ultimately did not want to sell the property. We received compliments from several other bidders, whom we also had to disappoint, regarding the correct and open communication about the unusual course of events concerning the offered property.

11 Jul 2024It's very difficult at this time for starters to obtain a home. I have had many viewings outside of Bergmakelaardij, unfortunately without result. It has finally succeeded for me to secure a rental property through this fantastic organization (Bergmakelaardij). What I really want to thank you for is the transparency, quick communication, being above the fray and the personal approach. And that last point, that is scarce these days. For real estate agents it may be somewhat easier at this time to rent out a home, but it's admirable how personally you continue to work. Unfortunately, I have noticed that that is no longer important to many real estate agents in this current time, for every one of you there are 100 others. Grateful that I was allowed to collaborate with you. I wish you all the best and I advise everyone to do business with Bergmakelaardij.

Date unknownDo not do business with them... Roozeboom was recently hired as the selling agent in the sale of a house. They were informed from the beginning about a dangerous situation around that house, but they completely dismissed it. Subsequently, they knowingly misled the buyer about that situation. After the buyer complained about this (after the purchase), the response was 'you have a duty to investigate'. Because everything about this is in writing, Roozeboom has made herself and especially her client (the seller) legally vulnerable.

Date unknownIf there's a realtor who really does everything to help you, then you should definitely go to Shanice. Even from her vacation, she was working and managed to sell our house in our case! Unfortunately, the buyers didn't deliver! But Shanice remained positive and after a week we had a new buyer and a good offer! And our house was definitively sold! Young lady but very professional! Really recommended!

Date unknownUnfortunately, made appointments were not kept. As an example, the previously agreed price agreement resulted in an amount upon appraisal. We had to wait a long time for appraisals; when we asked again where the appraisals were, Mrs. suddenly stated that she was still waiting for rental agreements from us. It would have been helpful if she had asked for this earlier, instead of pretending she was working on the appraisals. Moreover, the deadline she mentioned had already passed, and we were waiting for nothing. She also indicated beforehand that she could perform a certain appraisal for €250 extra, which suddenly became impossible after our agreement. In short; never again Rozeboom for us. Response to Rozeboom's reaction; Understandable that you need all the documents. However, it would have been helpful if you had informed us about what you still needed. You made it seem as if you would have it ready by the deadline, only when we contacted you did you start talking about the missing items. It seemed more efficient to us if you had contacted us when there was a lack of documents. When you cannot perform an assignment, it is nice for the customer when you indicate this in advance. In this case, you first made an appointment with us (you were aware of the situation), then after agreement you stated that you could not carry it out. This has cost us valuable time. Again, as described above, these are just a few examples. We tried to have a conversation about the things we ran into during our contact, unfortunately this turned out to be impossible. Also in your reaction now it appears that you mainly defend and are not able to look inward. Good luck with your business, but for us doing business with you is unfortunately over.

First of all, thank you for your review Claudia, it's unfortunate to hear that you experienced our service in this way. Unfortunately, for the speedy and correct processing of reports, we require access to (all) properties for inspection and indeed, the correct documents regarding the objects. Because we did not have access to one of the complexes due to the landlord being on vacation and were awaiting all the correct rental information, we were unable to act as quickly as our average, fast turnaround times. A split was subsequently requested regarding the value of a complex, but other rental income data was sent with it than that received from the selling broker at the time. Because we want to deliver work that is qualitative and reliable according to NVM guidelines, we unfortunately had to decline this assignment. We would of course like to explain things further over a cup of coffee; you are always welcome to come and discuss matters at our office, and we regret that this has resulted in your experience with us being less than desired.
