17 Feb 2025My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our realtor for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette with a difficult situation: we needed a house as quickly as possible because our lease was expiring in two months and we would have nowhere to go afterwards. Lisette was honest with us that it would be quite a job, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but ultimately she more than delivered. Throughout the entire home buying process, she skillfully guided us through viewings, assessing properties, and eventually making an offer and closing. As first-time homebuyers and also expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always happy and willing to answer. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt that she always had our best interests at heart and that she was never pressured to make offers that didn't make sense for us. Ultimately, our initial offer was accepted after a bit of back and forth with the seller and we closed on the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our first conversation with Lisette DESPITE a hiccup with our mortgage lender, through which she also navigated as a true professional. For what it's worth: our house was also valued higher than what we paid, so the fact that we had instant equity gave us the feeling that we scored big. We are still in disbelief that she could realize this home purchase so quickly and are so grateful for her expertise which guided us along the way. Highly recommend!

The next day, our realtor was called again to hear that the house had suddenly been sold to someone else. It has finally succeeded for me to secure a rental property through this fantastic organization (Bergmakelaardij). What I really want to thank you for is the transparency, quick communication, being above the fray and the personal approach. And that last point, that is scarce these days. For real estate agents it may be somewhat easier at this time to rent out a home, but it's admirable how personally you continue to work. Unfortunately, I have noticed that that is no longer important to many real estate agents in this current time, for every one of you there are 100 others. Grateful that I was allowed to collaborate with you. I wish you all the best and I advise everyone to do business with Bergmakelaardij.

That wasn't easy because it is a holiday home and those aren't easily disposed of. But Roozeboom real estate remained tirelessly committed to it and we experienced them as extremely pleasant and trustworthy. I would hire them again without hesitation. A big ten with a slate and a kiss from the teacher!

12 Feb 2025Do not do business with them... Roozeboom was recently hired as the selling agent in the sale of a house. They were informed from the beginning about a dangerous situation around that house, but they completely dismissed it. Subsequently, they knowingly misled the buyer about that situation. After the buyer complained about this (after the purchase), the response was 'you have a duty to investigate'. Because everything about this is in writing, Roozeboom has made herself and especially her client (the seller) legally vulnerable.
