05 Oct 2025Remco pretends to hope, makes big promises, but delivers little to nothing. The sale of my apartment went poorly and resulted in a loss of 27k. The purchase agency services he also does not deliver. Remco should have switched with the selling agent and given me as a buyer timely accurate bidding advice. Remco was not reachable at the moment it mattered. I therefore did not pay for his purchase services, he readily agreed to that, because he also realized that he did not deliver what he promised. The fact that the sale of my apartment went wrong, because he was unable to establish a binding sales agreement (financing), is something I will never forget. Legally attempted to hold him accountable for this. But then Remco throws it back on the fact that I received the sales agreement for review before it was passed on to the selling party. So it's my own fault? Where did I go wrong in my opinion? You take an 'expert' into your arms, who represents you, to prevent the above mentioned errors. Now Remco does it; because he offered the sales agreement for review in advance, and I agreed to that. Didn't I just hire an expert for that and paid for it? In short; if you want value for your money, and a real estate agent who actually represents his clients? Then I recommend you to look for someone else. There are enough alternatives in the vicinity of Tilburg! Think carefully, and choose another one, for yourself, your emotional state and naturally the end result. Remco will not admit his mistakes and hides behind his legal advisor. In the end he sends back the key to your home via post. Personal contact he avoids. This, in my opinion, already says enough. All in all, the advice is clear to me. Look for someone who does make an effort and does not act in his own interest! Never again Remco Olden Lommers Real Estate! More information and communication I will share freely with interested parties.

Date unknownVisited the viewing at the hudsonring via Carré De Wit. During the viewing, it was only mentioned that the bids would close on Tuesday. On Tuesday evening I log in to the portal and see that I cannot place a bid. Contacted Carré the very next morning and received the response that something might have gone wrong and the bidding deadline hadn't been sent correctly (or something along those lines). They said they would contact me to place another bid. Later that day called and twice 'hello? hello?' was said and immediately hung up. Further attempts to contact Carré have not occurred despite the promise that they would follow up on it. Nice viewing, but if it is not clearly stated that bidding ends earlier in the day, and subsequent arrangements to rectify this are not kept, you ultimately get little out of the viewing. It was a very beautiful house, and I would have liked to place a bid, but unfortunately.

But on the day of the viewing, we barely had time to walk quietly through the house; we wanted to walk through the house alone with the real estate agent after the viewing, but that wasn't possible. The real estate agent already had to leave. We had email contact about what our ideas were and asked if he wanted to discuss them with the current sellers, but that didn't work. The real estate agent himself said: 'Of course, that is far too low for the sellers.' I THINK they want to start talking from ... ton. Very strange that the real estate agent doesn't even try to present our plans to the sellers but instead says it’s too low and thinks the sellers only want to start talking from. Who is he to determine that for the sellers?!! Very bad service. That house will never be sold by that real estate agent.

29 Aug 2025After my divorce, I decided together with my ex-partner to sell our house. Due to the circumstances, I had to sleep at friends' places for no less than 8 months with my then 4-month-old daughter. When we finally reached an agreement on the sale, I made an appointment with Van de Zande. They would sell my ready-to-live-in home in exchange for their help in finding an apartment with 2 bedrooms – one for me and one for my daughter. Because there was no suitable apartment available at that time, I agreed to an apartment with 1 bedroom on Irenestraat 2a, with the promise that they would give me priority later for a home with 2 bedrooms. The sale itself went well; the contact with real estate agent Martijn was pleasant and communication lines were short – logical, because at that time it was naturally about selling my house. But then the misery began. While I had been living in the apartment for 10 months, the apartment next to mine (with 2 bedrooms) became available. I immediately emailed to see if I could move in, but that wasn't allowed because I had only lived there for 10 months instead of the agreed 12 months. When the apartment later became vacant again – and I had been renting it for longer than 12 months – I contacted them again. But this time I was told that there was already another interested party. Meanwhile, during that time, I never received any help or housing proposals, and if I responded to a property myself, I had to arrange everything myself. It always got stuck on the income requirement, while as a single mother with 22 working hours, I simply cannot meet it, because only gross income is looked at. After many frustrated phone calls, I eventually received a home referral in Kaatsheuvel. This house was not only more expensive, but also so dirty and run-down that I could never agree to it. Then I was suddenly told that I could rent the apartment on Irenestraat 2b, provided the other interested party would decline. When I finally received the relieving phone call that I could rent the apartment, the familiar sentence came: “Then we will now see if you meet the income requirements.” And yes – there it went wrong again. While I now also do not meet the income requirement of my current apartment, where I am simply paying the rent properly. The apartment next to mine is only € more expensive, but even then they are making things difficult. My feeling? As soon as the sale of my house was finalized and the commission was received, I was left to my own devices. Agreements are repeatedly not kept, and when you call, you mainly notice irritation instead of understanding or help. Very unfortunate. I feel unheard and am now investigating whether the rental committee can help me further.

01 Dec 2024I can wholeheartedly recommend this company. We advertised our apartment through Huizenbalie, which then posted it on Funda and several other platforms. The communication is excellent. The apartment was rented out immediately. We also tried it ourselves via other platforms, but honestly, that was a waste of time. We will definitely use this company again.

Date unknownI rented out my apartment through huizenbalie. I was well helped and my questions were answered very quickly. I also received the requests for viewings directly via my email. Can really recommend huizenbalie if you want to rent out your home yourself. Update: A little over a year later, I placed another advertisement through huizenbalie. Now interested parties have to fill in a questionnaire with a motivation beforehand, which results in more serious reactions. Again, many responses in a short time. Huib is handling it well again just like last time.

01 Dec 2023Very bad service, this morning my friend had an appointment for a viewing in Den Helder. He had to come from Hellevoetsluis, so he drove almost 2 hours. Upon arrival at the agreed time, no one was present. Repeatedly tried to call, only an answering machine that addresses you, now I understand why there is no voicemail. Ultimately, no one showed up and it cost him a lot of time and expensive fuel. Very customer unfriendly!!!!

Handling it myself, but this saves me 1000+ Euro , especially compared to (expat) real estate agencies, which ask for 1 month's rent for this (?!). Contact person very friendly on the phone. Conclusion: the future of property rental in a company

01 Dec 2022Warning! Extremely bad company! - Do you call the central number for interest in a property? You are referred to an email address and the connection is disconnected. Telephone consultation is impossible. - Do you call the number of one of their branches (in my case Groningen)? You get a message that the phone number is not in service. - Once responded via email to a property? You initially receive an automatic 'Postmaster' email as if the email address is undeliverable. Then you get a person whose first and last name are listed in the note of the email. - In a rental process, you can have many questions as a candidate. These will not be answered. Not even by email. The contact person only wants you to respond to his/her questions and not the other way around. - Finally: the viewing itself. You get a nice property to view. Good housing stock. Only the process: no hand is shaken, there is no interest in getting to know you, you are questioned about why you want to move (even though you have already mentioned this via email) and what you earn. You can give answers, but because listening is selective, what you actually say is not processed. - Ask for a video viewing. This prevents you from having to drive a long way only to hear during the viewing that there are 10 other candidates and you shouldn't get your hopes up... - The worst thing of all: the attitude. Mrs. Geraldien Miedema couldn't resist saying that they 'granted' the property to someone else. It might also be 'rented' to someone else, Mrs. Miedema. In short: 1 star for the property itself. No stars for the service.

01 Dec 2021Super bad company. You can't reach them by phone and if you do, you get someone on the line who is super arrogant and speaks to you rudely. This while the property I was calling about costs 2750 euros per month. Apparently, it’s too much to ask to call with a few questions about this.
