Date unknownVisited the viewing at the hudsonring via Carré De Wit. During the viewing, it was only mentioned that the bids would close on Tuesday. On Tuesday evening I log in to the portal and see that I cannot place a bid. Contacted Carré the very next morning and received the response that something might have gone wrong and the bidding deadline hadn't been sent correctly (or something along those lines). They said they would contact me to place another bid. Later that day called and twice 'hello? hello?' was said and immediately hung up. Further attempts to contact Carré have not occurred despite the promise that they would follow up on it. Nice viewing, but if it is not clearly stated that bidding ends earlier in the day, and subsequent arrangements to rectify this are not kept, you ultimately get little out of the viewing. It was a very beautiful house, and I would have liked to place a bid, but unfortunately.

But on the day of the viewing, we barely had time to walk quietly through the house; we wanted to walk through the house alone with the real estate agent after the viewing, but that wasn't possible. The real estate agent already had to leave. We had email contact about what our ideas were and asked if he wanted to discuss them with the current sellers, but that didn't work. The real estate agent himself said: 'Of course, that is far too low for the sellers.' I THINK they want to start talking from ... ton. Very strange that the real estate agent doesn't even try to present our plans to the sellers but instead says it’s too low and thinks the sellers only want to start talking from. Who is he to determine that for the sellers?!! Very bad service. That house will never be sold by that real estate agent.

05 Aug 2025After my divorce, I decided together with my ex-partner to sell our house. Due to the circumstances, I had to sleep at friends' places for no less than 8 months with my then 4-month-old daughter. When we finally reached an agreement on the sale, I made an appointment with Van de Zande. They would sell my ready-to-live-in home in exchange for their help in finding an apartment with 2 bedrooms – one for me and one for my daughter. Because there was no suitable apartment available at that time, I agreed to an apartment with 1 bedroom on Irenestraat 2a, with the promise that they would give me priority later for a home with 2 bedrooms. The sale itself went well; the contact with real estate agent Martijn was pleasant and communication lines were short – logical, because at that time it was naturally about selling my house. But then the misery began. While I had been living in the apartment for 10 months, the apartment next to mine (with 2 bedrooms) became available. I immediately emailed to see if I could move in, but that wasn't allowed because I had only lived there for 10 months instead of the agreed 12 months. When the apartment later became vacant again – and I had been renting it for longer than 12 months – I contacted them again. But this time I was told that there was already another interested party. Meanwhile, during that time, I never received any help or housing proposals, and if I responded to a property myself, I had to arrange everything myself. It always got stuck on the income requirement, while as a single mother with 22 working hours, I simply cannot meet it, because only gross income is looked at. After many frustrated phone calls, I eventually received a home referral in Kaatsheuvel. This house was not only more expensive, but also so dirty and run-down that I could never agree to it. Then I was suddenly told that I could rent the apartment on Irenestraat 2b, provided the other interested party would decline. When I finally received the relieving phone call that I could rent the apartment, the familiar sentence came: “Then we will now see if you meet the income requirements.” And yes – there it went wrong again. While I now also do not meet the income requirement of my current apartment, where I am simply paying the rent properly. The apartment next to mine is only € more expensive, but even then they are making things difficult. My feeling? As soon as the sale of my house was finalized and the commission was received, I was left to my own devices. Agreements are repeatedly not kept, and when you call, you mainly notice irritation instead of understanding or help. Very unfortunate. I feel unheard and am now investigating whether the rental committee can help me further.

Ultimately, we did buy the house after contacting the selling party ourselves. A flower was promised upon delivery, and now, a year and a half later, we have received nothing. Never again with De Zande for us.

A few weeks ago we received a phone call saying they had lost our data and then they sent it via email. I responded asking why they needed it again. No response received. That's strange. We called them, and they claimed to have found our data. Then you just let someone know, don't you? Not so.... Poor service.

Date unknownYesterday I received a message from an acquaintance of mine that he had received a phone call from Bol real estate agents from Oosterhout. They had looked up my name on the internet and came to him. Whether he wanted to give my phone number because Bol real estate agents had a property in mind..? The acquaintance didn't trust it and, of course, did not pass on my phone number but contacted me about the strange and intrusive phone call he had received. Apparently, they have never heard of privacy laws at this brokerage. So I contacted Bol real estate agents myself. They were contacting me regarding a negative review from 6 years(!) ago.. They no longer had my number and were now trying to find out my phone number via the internet and my circle of acquaintances, under false pretenses (we have a property in mind). They wanted to talk and hoped to convince me to change my review with a bottle of wine... They are trying to 'resolve' a lot of hassle with legal assistance and a sloppy €1000 in extra costs, 6 years later by bothering my circle of acquaintances and sweet-talking me into a conversation and a bottle of wine... No, even after changing ownership, Bol real estate agents remains a very strange and unprofessional company. I hope that now, after 6 years, I am finally done with the practices of this 'special' realtor. If Bol real estate agents then dares to come up with a response to this review saying: 'It was certainly not our intention to reach someone from your circle of acquaintances on the phone.' then they are blatantly lying! Bol real estate agents consciously contacted this particular acquaintance of mine to ask for my phone number! Worthless reaction!

In the meantime, I have been approached very nicely by the new owner and staff. They seem to be taking a totally different path and appear very nice. It’s good that it is resolved.

Date unknownSelling a cv boiler with an existing rental agreement while the purchasing party had already stated during the viewing that they did not want it. The Bol real estate agent even claimed upon signing the purchase contract that the purchasing party was absolutely not bound to this, but ultimately ends up with a redemption sum of hundreds of euros & an unwanted boiler... Also, the Bol real estate agent claimed that the roof of the storage room did not contain asbestos. Even when the selling party indicated that this was indeed the case, the Bol real estate agent insisted that it was not asbestos. When confronted again by the purchasing party two days before key handover, the real estate agent stated 'I'm not an asbestos expert'... The whirlpool bath was explicitly discussed in the house brochure. The selling party eventually stated that it was defective. The purchasing party addressed the real estate agent about this but he (again) did not respond... Our personal experiences are very bad with Bol Makelaardij & their realtor Arjan van Gorsel. In terms of the realtor's expertise as well as communication. Our advice: bring your own buyer's broker. It is extra costs, but then you know what to expect & what awaits you.

Regarding the bathtub, we find it unfortunate that the seller confronted you with this; we were not told that it didn't work and the real estate agent was therefore unaware. The asbestos is clearly stated in the purchase agreement and given the construction year of the property, you should have expected that as well. From your reaction, it appears that you do not consider yourself capable and that support in any form would have been welcome in your case, as you write. Of course, we wish you a lot of enjoyment in your home despite everything; it remains a pleasant and spacious residence.

Date unknownI rented out my apartment through huizenbalie. I was well helped and my questions were answered very quickly. I also received the requests for viewings directly via my email. Can really recommend huizenbalie if you want to rent out your home yourself. Update: A little over a year later, I placed another advertisement through huizenbalie. Now interested parties have to fill in a questionnaire with a motivation beforehand, which results in more serious reactions. Again, many responses in a short time. Huib is handling it well again just like last time.

14 Aug 2023Very bad service, this morning my friend had an appointment for a viewing in Den Helder. He had to come from Hellevoetsluis, so he drove almost 2 hours. Upon arrival at the agreed time, no one was present. Repeatedly tried to call, only an answering machine that addresses you, now I understand why there is no voicemail. Ultimately, no one showed up and it cost him a lot of time and expensive fuel. Very customer unfriendly!!!!

14 Aug 2023The absolute best way to rent out your house via Funda/Pararius. My house was posted within 1 day, +150 responses within 24h. Handling it myself, but this saves me 1000+ Euro , especially compared to (expat) real estate agencies, which ask for 1 month's rent for this (?!). Contact person very friendly on the phone. Conclusion: the future of property rental in a company

14 Aug 2023The Huizenbalie is a bad party for potential renters. You are connected to an automated message. They ask if you send an email. Then you hear nothing more. The telephone service also tries to fob you off with an email. Very poorly organized!

14 Aug 2023Warning! Extremely bad company! - Do you call the central number for interest in a property? You are referred to an email address and the connection is disconnected. Telephone consultation is impossible. - Do you call the number of one of their branches (in my case Groningen)? You get a message that the phone number is not in service. - Once responded via email to a property? You initially receive an automatic 'Postmaster' email as if the email address is undeliverable. Then you get a person whose first and last name are listed in the note of the email. - In a rental process, you can have many questions as a candidate. These will not be answered. Not even by email. The contact person only wants you to respond to his/her questions and not the other way around. - Finally: the viewing itself. You get a nice property to view. Good housing stock. Only the process: no hand is shaken, there is no interest in getting to know you, you are questioned about why you want to move (even though you have already mentioned this via email) and what you earn. You can give answers, but because listening is selective, what you actually say is not processed. - Ask for a video viewing. This prevents you from having to drive a long way only to hear during the viewing that there are 10 other candidates and you shouldn't get your hopes up... - The worst thing of all: the attitude. Mrs. Geraldien Miedema couldn't resist saying that they 'granted' the property to someone else. It might also be 'rented' to someone else, Mrs. Miedema. In short: 1 star for the property itself. No stars for the service.

14 Aug 2021Super bad company. You can't reach them by phone and if you do, you get someone on the line who is super arrogant and speaks to you rudely. This while the property I was calling about costs 2750 euros per month. Apparently, it’s too much to ask to call with a few questions about this.
