22 Jun 2025Disappointing experience. Bijdevaate was asked to guide the sale of my property in Zierikzee (>€550.000). Unfortunately, they stated that they did not have time for this and referred me to their partner, Kooijman Makelaars. Kooijman was invited, but the first appointment was cancelled due to circumstances beyond their control – which can happen. They did show up for a second invitation; the visit went well. However, after that, we heard nothing more, despite several phone calls from my side. Fortunately, we had also approached other real estate agents, so we decided not to award them the assignment. All in all, a disappointing experience.

09 Mar 2025Clearly communicated with son Niels about an assignment to appraise a property, before/after renovation. Price and agreements communicated as agreed via email. Father den Ouden calls like a blunt farmer saying the appraisal will not proceed due to nonsensical reasons that I, as the buyer, cannot influence. Well, the question is whether you want to do business with such types anymore. My advice is NO.

Petra, as indicated, I (Ab) have previously reviewed the property in preparation and must conclude, based on the data available online including the price history, that the value you desire is not realistic from my perspective. Apart from this, as a broker/appraiser, I am obliged to objectively assess the property and act carefully and ethically, and not according to the desired price that a client would so gladly want. Therefore, I have decided not to proceed with carrying out the assignment of appraising this property. I am also pleased that we belong to this 'type' of broker.

Date unknownBoot didn't sell my house in a month, I got the strong impression that it was sabotaged because of my sexual orientation. A lot of sloppy work was done. For example, initially the text from another house appeared in my brochure. Incorrect features, to my disadvantage, and my advertisement went behind the planter box at the bottom of the door. Where no one looks anymore. I was told not to complain too much and be impatient. I stopped using them. A new real estate agent on the island sold my house within 2 weeks. Without asking for the standard start-up costs (€595!). I had to pay that for this sloppy work under protest. Boot is the only one who charges that extra fee here on the island. You have been warned!

Dear Bob, we're sorry you experienced it that way. Unfortunately, at the time your property came for sale, there was a prolonged nationwide outage on Funda which caused several things to go wrong. We adjusted what we could; further, we were unfortunately dependent on a solution that took some time but eventually arrived. There is absolutely no question of sabotage for any reason whatsoever; it should be clear that something like that does not align with our working methods.

Mr. Sander Sinac was very friendly, took the time during the initial viewing and gave us excellent advice during the conversation. The seller ultimately makes the decision, he said again and again. The advertisement after commissioning via Boot Marklers and the presentation via the internet were excellent! The overall support left nothing to be desired. Interested parties, but also curious onlookers, could view our holiday home in Korenbloempark from all sides. A video and a 360-degree view of the holiday home and property were even published. No wishes remained unfulfilled. Contrary to their uninformed opinion, the neighbors could also get an initial impression of the excellent condition in which the holiday home was! (We were confirmed by the absolute satisfaction of the new owners.) Potential buyers were invited after a short time and could get an impression with the local real estate agent. We were always kept informed and Mr. Sinac was always available for us. A buyer with our price expectations was quickly found. For a trouble-free sale, we can only recommend Boot Marklers. This also applies to our situation; we had been looking for an apartment in the free sector in Heinkenszand for a few years. In December 2022, we came into contact with an acquaintance of our acquaintance through an acquaintance. This person had a beautiful apartment for rent and introduced me to WOOOnmakelaardij (never heard of them). We got in touch with a feisty lady who was clear but provided quite extensive information. She arranged the rental of the beautiful apartment for us and sold our own home in a professional manner. Because stress sometimes overwhelmed us, contact with Jolande (from WOOONmakelaardij) was so good that we were allowed to call her, and she could often alleviate the stress by responding clearly and honestly. She guided us until the transfer at the notary's office where she was present. The slogan, be HONEST, stay CORRECT and HAVE SOMETHING FOR ANOTHER, applies to Jolande.
