Ten years ago, when I bought my house, the experience was already good so it was logical that I would talk to Francis Helmig Makelaardij again this time. The conversation (with Nikki Blom) was immediately very pleasant and the offer was also good. Very bad experience and a nasty taste left from the contact with this real estate agent. A large, hidden defect was not reported, neither verbally nor in writing. After contacting the VvE (Homeowners Association), it turned out that this defect had been known for 10 years(!) Dirty game played to shift the responsibility of 'finding' the hidden defect as a due diligence obligation of the buyer (me). While all defects should initially be reported by an 'experienced' selling real estate agent. After discovery, a very nonchalant attitude and washing hands in innocence. After a time-consuming and energy-draining cat-and-mouse game, it was very difficult to reach a settlement. My advice from this sad experience; save yourself many headaches and choose a reliable real estate agent.

Very bad service! I called to make an appointment at a house where I was very interested and the woman who answered the phone said that there were no more appointments available in this house. I explained to her that the house they had for sale was of great interest to me and she insisted that an appointment was not possible. I asked if she could be put on the waiting list. After ten minutes, the real estate agent I work with called and she immediately made an appointment with him. This is a very serious problem for me because they didn't know who I was. In my opinion, it is very poor service to the landlord to not give people any opportunity to view the property!
