It's a strange housing market, I understand that. We had Van Santen real estate agents as our buyer's agent when purchasing our new home. There were many other things like that which the office manager didn't see and our acquaintance did. We didn't want to make a big deal of it, because we had everything double-checked and we also received certain discounts on, for example, viewings etc. What I really find astonishing is how we are being treated after the purchase process. We paid nicely, never made an issue of the fact that we were assisted by an office manager and still had to pay the amounts of a normal buyer's agent. Our apartment which we were leaving was also coincidentally sold by Van Santen. We rented this apartment so we had nothing to do with the sale of that apartment. However, they already had our data because we naturally asked them to be our buyer's agent. They had the luxury of being able to reach us directly. Therefore, we were often approached personally while certain appointments with our landlord (the seller of the apartment) had to be made. In addition, the tone in which we were addressed was very unfriendly 9 times out of 10. For example, there was a threat that it would be our fault if the buyer backed out if a second viewing could not be arranged on a certain day. Again: we had nothing to do with the sale of the apartment because we rented it. They should have approached the seller of that apartment and not us. Als huurder van een woning heb je de wettelijke verplichting je redelijke medewerking te verlenen bij een voorgenomen verkoop. De manier waarop jullie je hierin opstelden heeft het verkoopproces geen goed gedaan en op een zeker moment zelfs het doorgaan van de verkoop in gevaar gebracht. Dat wij jullie rechtstreeks benaderden voor het afstemmen van o.a. bezichtigingen leek ons het meest praktisch omdat wij in de veronderstelling waren een goede verstandhouding te hebben. Dit bleek een inschattingsfout, maar als je het ons gezegd had, hadden we voortaan via de verhuurster kunnen communiceren. Wanneer wij jullie wijzen op jullie verplichting om een week na de overdracht de nog ontbrekende sleutel aan de nieuwe eigenaar te overhandigen, kiezen jullie ervoor om een negatieve review op Google achter te laten in plaats van te zoeken naar een oplossing. Wij betreuren het dat ons beroep op jullie begrip en medewerking voor de belangen van anderen onze relatie zo snel verslechterd heeft.
