We had seen a house. Immediately made an appointment for a viewing. We couldn't be accommodated until 2 weeks later, which was perfectly fine. The day before the viewing, we were called (a voicemail message left) with the announcement that the viewing appointment would not take place because the seller had accepted an offer. It would have been nice and clever if the real estate agent had called us to let us know that someone had made an offer and whether we might be able to come by earlier (which we could). Our first experience with this realtor is bad.

We know that the market is overheated, you have to be quick and disappointments are part of it. But that employees of S Makelaars act unprofessionally, in an unprofessional manner, and are unfriendly to customers is certainly the biggest disappointment. Consciously taking and abusing a position of power. It's a shame that S Makelaars negatively influence the perception of real estate agents among all those other good professional real estate agencies.
